High quality record player for Vinyl
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My girlfriend is a bit of music fanatic and has always wanted a record player and so I surprised her for Christmas and bought her this Audiotechnica model record player. She absolutely loves it and it's very easy to use for both of us who have never used a record player before. Just read the instructions and follow them closely and make sure you also purchase a speaker for the record player to output to. Some people don't know that this system itself does not 'output' audio, it only reads it. You will need to connect this to a speaker in order to hear the music as the record player spins. Definitely check out Best Buy's selection of records, they have some really good classics as well as newer music pressed on vinyl. Audiotechnica in my experience has always made some very high quality audio equipment and this is no exception. I rate this 5 out of 5!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing. I bought a very cheap record player before this one. ($50) was awful. Than came accross this one. Was blown away from the differnce in sound! Plays my old 70s records great! If you are looking to get into or back into listening to records get this one. Its cheap looks good and sounds great. But im still going to buy a different one in a year, will keep this one still!

First Turntable in a loooong Time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is very well designed to have all we need for enjoying music these days. It has phono equalizer which can be switched on and off. So, it can be connected to regular amp via AUX, or phono pre-amp. It also as USB connection. So, hearing with computer is a piece of cake. The sound is phenomenal! I feel the analog sound is warmer than CD or MP3s, my opinion. Regarding price and quality, it was a great buy.

Sounds Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice sound from my old collection of vinyl records. Easy to set-up and use, especially with its start-stop button in the front. Automatically turns off at the end of a record and arm returns to the rest position. The built-in supplied RCA type cable for attachment to the amplifier/receiver is somewhat short and barely reaches the connection at the back of of my receiver.

Excellent 1st Record Player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend this item to anyone interested in a record player. It is easy to set up (just follow the directions) and looks great. You need to have speakers, which are not included in the purchase or you will not be able to hear the sound coming from the record player. With speakers though this is an excellent record player. Great sound quality, with the faint skips and scratches in the background that make record player music so desirable and romantic.

A great entry point.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned this model for a year and purchased this one on sale for my dad for Christmas. It’s an awesome entry point for wanna-be vinyl enthusiasts. I picked up some powered book shelf speakers for $100 and had myself a nice setup for under $200. It still sounds great a year later! No issues whatsoever.

Nice to hear my old vinyl records again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old record collection has sat idle for decades for lack of a turntable. That was just unacceptable. Last year I tried to remedy this deficiency by purchasing one of those record players in a box with built is speakers you see at Bed, Bath and Beyond or Kohl's, etc. I was dissatisfied and retuned the product. The only reasonably priced alternative was a real turn table with a dust cover and amp. I stumbled on this compact unit that has a modest footprint. Audio-technica ships the unit with the arm secure and the turntable unattached to the belt to minimize damage to the unit. Accordingly, some "assembly" is required. After setting it up I was astonished by quality of the sound. This reasonably priced turntable exceeded my expectation and I'm not even using a high end tuner and speakers. I'm using an ancient Radio Shack powered set of desk-top speakers. As I write this review I'm listening to my 1977 soundtrack of "Saturday Night Fever". What a pleasure to hear this wonderful album the way it's suppose to be heard. The AT-LP60 is a reasonably priced turntable that brings back to life those old albums you haven't listened to in years. I highly recommend this entry level turntable.

Super easy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, not for an audiophile. No way to balance the tone arm. But if you have old records and want a super quick and easy way to enjoy them it doesn’t get any simpler than this. Truly plug and play with a built in preamp.

Turntable Heaven
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really love the simplicity of this turn table. I also love that the arm automatically lifts the needle and returns to the resting arm - instead of staying at the end of the album where the needle can get ruined. A word of advice though, you have to set up the turntable with the rubber belt.

Amazing for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You want to experience Vinyls again but you don't want to break the bank. If you are looking for a qualitative product and the best bang for your bucks, then don't look any further. This is an amazing product and you'll get a lot for your money. I've connected it to a Sony Amp (5.2) and to two Polk speakers (ST15) and I am getting an amazing sound.

Versitile Reasonable Cost Choice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the most reasonably priced turntables on the market that has a built in preamp. That allows it to be connected to any receiver on the market. Many do not have a phono input. There is a switch on the back of this turntable to vary the output level. So receivers that have it internal possibly of higher quality can use that setting, others have an input. I have a receiver that has a built in preamp, but not all have that. There are many other turntables on the market that are significantly more expensive than this one. I suspect that most people do not have the rest of the equipment that would make the difference of the more expensive ones audible. This will still push through the warmth of vinyl to most audio systems and do so at a reasonable cost.
