Got this turn table for its ability, for old style phono hookup, 78 rpm and has a switch for phono or line hookup (USB). Its handsome look, sound is real good and very quite. When ready, will buy a better cartridge or Stylus, cartridge in there now is very good, so no need to run out and up date. Only draw back not fully automatic, need to que at end of album, yes does have a lift arm for dropping down on vinyl and lifting off, there is a led light that shines on vinyl for dropping stylus on precise in between songs track.

Bought this because it has magnetic cartridge, USB output connection and built-in adjustable preamp. My old Dual 505 was great in its day, but it could never compensate for modern receivers' tinny record reproduction. Solid-built and can handle everything from 45-33 & 1/3 to 78. Tone arm tracks straight and true after viewing YouTube how-to on setup. Now I have a choice whether to listen to the analog version at home or take a CD along in the car. It's everything I've wanted in a turntable.

Unlike my old B&O there is no preamp required. This is a manual turntable. You must place the needle on the album and also manually return it, you must also turn it on and off. It has a great sound and direct drive that is very quiet. Using Audacity is almost like using a tape recorder. I just record one album side and label it rather than put the effort required to edit and label each song title. The wav. file from the LP sounds great and I will only be using this format. You will notice the sound difference of the Mp3 file.

I recently decide to get back into LP's. I still had much of my collection from the 70's and 80's. This is a great turntable. I have it hooked up to a Sony receiver and grounded. No noise whatsoever even from LP's that have been played many times. Very easy setup. Videos from Audio-Technica to assist anyone in setting up this unit. Arm balances real easy and the tracking is as close to perfect as most anyone could want. One quality turntable that is worth every penny.

Would be perfect if the platter was flat. You can watch it waive as it moves. However, it sounds amazing and has enough capabilities to last you for years. Needs an auto return when record ends.

I have a small vinyl collection, and have used an technics sld2 but it's wiring is starting to get faulty and it's time to let it rest. So this thing is the knockoff version and you know what? It's still pretty good. I'm sure there are people even more picky than me, but I don't have 10 grand to drop on some high grade thing. Easy set up, quick to start playing, sounds good. Not sure what else to add.

This has to the the turntable for the highest quality at home. If you want a great sounding, quality high fidelity, the is the best for the price. The specs and instructions were pretty clear. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have an option to allow for auto return. You must manually lift the stylus to put it in it’s arm holder before turning it off or flipping the record.

Finally started my vinyl collection and even more important the player. I chose this player over all others because of the little things. I like the design and find it aesthetically pleasing. The little things like it can play a 78, the counter weight you can control, upgrading the needle, even the controller arm being crooked. Visually love it and it plays very well.

Fantastic turntable- lots of bells and whistles for the price point. Easy setup (download the manual- the one in the box is pretty sparse). It looks great, sounds great, and the curbside pickup experience was very well orchestrated. I’d highly recommend this turntable- I did my homework before buying it and for the price point, you’d be hard-pressed to beat it.

I purchased this after first buying a different entry-level brand. The other brand was nice in that it had built in speakers and was very affordable however the sound quality was bad and it skipped non-stop. This unit has performed great. The sound is phenomenal and I’ve not had any issues with skipping. I would recommend this as a nice entry level model!

I got this turntable so that I could play my old LP's and it didn't disappoint. I had an Audio-Technica turntable in the 70's that I loved, so I turned to a familiar brand. There are some nice upgrades like the tunable slider switch which is a nice feature. It was easy to set up and plugged right in to my receiver...and voila...great sounding LP's.

Solid, well built, great options. My old vinyl collection has never sounded better. Once you get setup and the tone arm balanced to 2 grams....it changes everything...records track better, sound better, don’t skip, no hum from the motor. The only option I wish it had was reverse, but other than that, I love it and am glad I bought it.

Made this purchase after much research. I was worried about quality and sound. 100% happy with this turntable. I have not stopped buying records since it arrived. Played my old records on it right away sound was very nice. Converted some to MP3 using my PC. Made some great tracks with samples etc... Great product good price.

Easy to set up, easy to use. Good sound quality even towards inner tracks. If you're new to vinyl, this is a nice turntable. I'm going to purchase another plug-in shell for my old Shure cartridge, it's more mellow. You need to buy a decent receiver and speakers to take advantage of the frequency range of LPs. Go for it.

OMG!! I was a little nervous about purchasing a new turntable. I haven't had one in about a year after my Pioneer stopped working. I truly love this turntable!! The sound quality and features are just what I was looking for and ending up being perfect for me. Heck, my wife even enjoys playing vinyl on it.

This is my first turntable. My roommate had a silver one and I really enjoyed using it so it lead me to buy this exact model but in black. It's really easy to set up and use. Nice midrange table that won't destroy your records. Audio Technica is a great band, highly recommend!
