So I am building two systems around current OLED TVs, AppleTV latest gen, parasound power amps and AVPs. Not to discourage anyone, but it has not been completely smooth. The New Cinnamon is AQ’s 2nd level of the 48 GB capable lineup. It is well made, the connectors fit snugly, it is directionally biased. The jacket is quite thick and stiff. It is unclear to me why. We are talking about digital signals here, and these must have an interesting cross section.
I did A/B them compared to the Ocean- which is AQ manufactured only for BB, AFAIK. The cinnamon was much better in a Sonus Faber/KEF 7.4 system. It was used as the output from the Marantz 7006 to the Sony. I have no idea why a cable which, in this application (no ARC), is only carrying 15 to 25 gb of video should help the sound. Any reader of this is justified in their skepticism, but otherwise my report is factual.
I dropped one star because:
1. Did not fully test it as an eARC cable
2. Jacket is not flexible
3. Unclear if AQ has added a secret sauce, like spiral winding, that necessitated such thickness.

Buying an Audioquest cable, especially a Cinnamon or higher, instantly upgrades your home theater experience. The colors are more vivid, the audio is crisper, and the overall smoothness of the picture and audio is perfect. It allows your current set up to work at its highest potential!

I know there’s some controversy over the benefit of higher priced cables, but there was DEFINITELY a noticeable improvement in picture and sound when I replaced another brand’s 48 Gbps with this Cinnamon. Colors are more accurate, sound seems to have better definition. Maybe it’s the solid copper wire and the real silver wrapping. No matter, I intend to purchase 2 more of these for sure.

Cable works great for providing optimal video quality. Cables are protected from being cut or bitten through. Definitely a bit overpriced, but you get what you pay for.

I have spent a lot of money on speaker cable, power cables, balanced XLR, power conditioners, etc... This cable makes zero difference in your system. Build quality is amazing and the lifetime warranty is incredible, but for $150+ this cable is simply not worth it. There are zero visual improvements in this cable over something like a Zeskit Maya on Amazon. I am not an anti cable person, cables can make a big improvement in your system, but the ultra premium HDMI cables I question. Save your money, get a 2.1 certified on Amazon.

I wish there was better product support. Directional cables are not necessary throughout your system is what I am understanding… At least what I understand for most of your home Theater set up, as bi-directional 2.1 HDMI can work in most situations and offer more remote control options using bi-directional 2.1 versus directional which is mostly recommended for television to sound bar, versus 2.1 better bidirectional for hooking up let's say Apple TV or place station to any of the other HDMI ports that are non-arc or e-arc. I'm still trying to understand all this and therefore this is my review.

Exceptional build quality as expected. Worth the price? Only time will tell to see if they last longer than the previous much cheaper cables. Those cables lasted about 3 or 4 years before I started seeing stars and sparkles in picture quality during use.

I use it to go from my ps5 to my marantz 6015 reciver the sound quality is a definite improvement over my old ocean audioquest cable I was not sure that it would make a difference but the sound quality was definitely different and much more clear and impactful on my bowers and wilkins DM 603 S4’s.

Ended up returning this because the shortest size just makes it hard to move your components anywhere other than where it will reach. My fault, I bought too short. Craftsmanship is good and it’s a quality cord

You get what you pay for. I paid for connection and beauty from my PS5 to my Master series Sony A90K. Thats what I got. Simple Home Theater math, better quality Hardware connected with top quality HDMI = Looking like it looks in the store. The way we want it and like it. Its worth it people, spend the money.
