fit every connection that I tried it with and I tried with several.. The quality of the fiber optic is probably not any better that the Monster one but several reviewers stat that the Monsters cable it did not fit tightly with some of their connections.. Not a problem withe this cable. Can definitely tell the quality over the one provided with my LB Soundbar.

Cable is holding up pretty good so no complaints after several years.

Can't say anything bad about going with the AudioQuest Digital Optical Cable. Top quality and well made. Works great with my surround sound system. Audio is great using this cable. It may cost a bit more than other brands, but I have never had an issue with anything made by AudioQuest.

I was quite speticle about purchasing the product due to its price and hearing about all cables are the same, but when I hooked this up to my surround sound and my Astro A40 Mixamp. You would be amazed of how different you will hear the audio, smooth voice, silent background , amazing when playing c.o.d yet deadly.

After hooking up the SONOS system to my TV, I always thought the audio was meh. I figured I would go ahead and buy this cable to see if it would improve the sound quality and it surely did. I was very impressed in the quality of the sound. Don't be cheap, buy the better quality cables.

Expensive, but worth it when you have the right equipment

Not all optical digital connections sound the same. This one from AudioQuest is a vast improvement over the short skinny things that often come with various components. I always trust AQ connections to bring out the best in my audio gear.

This is simply the greatest addition to my home audio/video set up. My first audio/visual cable was the stock cable from the box. I was told that this would make a diff and boy was I surprised and the quality sound it delivers. Hefty price, but I like the end results.

I really didn't think coming up in the digital optical cable real would make a difference but it certainly did. Went from an amazon basics cable to this and the base no longer rumbled & I don't have to turn down the volume for sound effects and turn it up for voices. Everything is evened out.

This product absolutely delivers on improving sound. There is no feedback, white noise, or glitches when installed. Just a very noticeable difference in sound quality from the HDMI cable that I was using.

I recently bought a Samsung soundbar to match my Samsung UHD 4K TV and of course that meant buying a cable. The Audioquest cable is specifically designed for 4K audio/video and it works great with my new soundbar. I feel like I get the home-theater experience. Highly recommended

i added this cable to my sonos playbase and I can definitely hear a difference from the supplied cable and a monster cable I have. BUild is fantastic, price is always an issue but I got it on sale and for how much its used, it was a bargain.

Really nice looking cord and gave me a clean signal from my head unit to my sound processor, also used a second one from a tablet to the processor for an even cleaner signal. Nice Product!

Bought this higher end cable to connect my Xbox One to my Soundbar. I was receiving a sound lag with just my HDMI cable. This worked like a charm and now the video and audio are in sync.

Usually optical links have terrible connections making them seem cheap and ineffective. This cord connects snugly, is shaped so you can only plug it in one direction, and the cord is solid. Works great.
