My neighbour recently showed me his new HDTV, and I was incredibly impressed. I asked the secret to the crisp quality of the picture and audio. He told me it was HDMI, and the cable cost him $140. Naturally, I was jealous. I traveled to Best Buy a few days ago. When I arrived and asked for the most expensive HDMI cable available, the clerk laughed, and then guided me to this product. Presumably, he was overcome with joy. When I got home, I went straight to my neighbour's house to show him my new expensive cable. He laughed with joy as well. As we gathered to eat our Sunday dinner, me and my family were stunned by the picture quality. Truly, this cable was amazingly better for both video and film and television purposes.

This is no ordinary cable..I am a degreed engineer so I know a lot about electronics. Most cheap cables are bi-directional; but video signals are uni-directional - they go from your receiver / player to the TV where they are emitted as photons that you see as light. if you have a bi-directional cable; some of the signal leaks back to the recover. This is bad because: 1) You get less photons emitted so your picture is not as goo; especially if they are all red, green or blue - in which case you will see color shifts or muddy blacks since ethe light is missing a color. 2)They take up space going back to the receiver so fewer photons can flow to the TV - which means you see slight stutters in the picture, especially fast moving ones. This is most pronounced in DSP projectors where fast motion can result in pixelation do to insufficient photons. 3) The returning photons build up at the cable plug since your receiver is not designed to accept them. Eventually, they start building up to the point where they block the outgoing photons and you have to unplug the cable to dump out the excess photon buildup. Unidirectional cables avoid all of this. They aren't cheap to build, as you need virgin metal that is carefully annealed in only one direction to get the right pipe alignment in the cable. Even then, the reject rate is high so the yield is low; hence ethe high price. One word of caution - if you plug it in backwards you will get no picture at all or a very faint one. I can't tell you how many people I know buy a uni-directional cable, plug it in backwards, and turn the video gain way up too get an acceptable picture. Folks, READ THE DIRECTIONS; you only get the full value of the cable if it is used properly. Trust me, I am an engineer.

I was comparing the "AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' HDMI cable" to some "6ft 24AWG CL2 High Speed HDMI Cable With Ethernet w/ Net Jacket" cables and finally decided on the AudioQuest. Yes, it's true I could have gone with 177 of the "other" cables for about the same cost but the "other" cables lack the cool button and little green light on the AudioQuest. I need that! Also, the "other" cables are 6' long and I need a cable that's exactly 3.3' long like the AQ. Lastly, the AQ cable uses "Solid 100% PSS SilverConductors" for the data wires. I'm sure the "other" cables use regular, inferior metal conductors that get confused when transferring digital ones and zeroes - the "other" cable likely sends a 0.7, a square root or 2, or a pi periodically. I just can't risk that with my HDMI cable! Thank you AudioQuest and Best Buy for saving me from 177 inferior 6' HDMI cables. I just hope the AudioQuest cable doesn't fail 1 day after it's 5 year warranty expires but at less than a dollar a day over 5 years, it would still be a steal!

Ok. First off, I tested this cable in comparison to my $3.50 HDMI cable and let me tell you, there is no difference. HDMI transmits 1's and 0's. The cable never improves colors, or signal. If your cable can't transmit well enough, you get nothing. No picture, no sound. Just like you wouldn't get a connection to the internet. You don't get a "fuzzy internet connection" when the cable is of poor quality, and you don't get a faster connection when the cable on your computer is better quality. You just either get it, or you don't. Ultimately the picture and sound with this cable is the exact same as it is with a cheapo HDMI cable. That being said, I was looking for a cable that I could also use to hang my 73" DLP on the ceiling. I figured "Hey, if I'm going to need a cable to hang this beautiful behemoth, why not also make it the cable that will transmit the above-mentioned 1's and 0's?". It works. My TV is now suspended in the air by this single cable and thanks to all the high quality materials it has, I have no doubt that it will prevent it from falling on my family while they're watching TV. My $3.50 HDMI cable couldn't do this. I know, because it cost me my daughter's 19" HD TV and 4 stitches on her forehead to find out.

Wow is all I have to say... I have a Miracle Monochrome 19" CRT Display. I was told that with one of these majestic cables, I could easily upconvert the images to HD on this bad-boy... Man were they right. This saved me thousands I was going to have to spend on a new television. I just connected this HDMI to an HDMI to VGA splitter and BAMM!!!! This is the best image ever displayed on a 19" CRT monitor.... Holy cow these images are so life-like... I feel that this investment is so good, I won't even need to upgrade my Packard Bell 286 computer. Wolfenstein looks so real on this, I just don't know what to say... The Germans look like they are really coming at me!

Pro's: I knew when I purchased this, it was no ordinary cable, but one fateful night my pregnant wife and I found each other lost on some back roads. That's when it happened, she went into labor! I went into a Tilly and cowardly ran away in terror. That's when the AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable (which I take everywhere) kicked into gear - calmed my wife down and successfully delivered our healthy baby son, all in Hi-Def! Through the years my trusty AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable has taught me Spanish, we've climbed the Swiss Alps together, came in 3rd at the 2014 world poker tournament, and started our own luxury lawn-chair company -- again all in Hi-Def. When i picked this up yesterday, I really didn't expect much. My current provider said i'd never be able to watch video's on my computer due to my slow internet, well i slapped this cord into my wifi resinator and bam! i'm watching all three lord of the rings at the same time. Talk about a christmas present everyone can enjoy! HAHA ! if my wife isn't useing it in the kitchen , my kid's are ripping their batteries out of the cell phone's and using it as plug power/internet source. what can't this thing do! My only complaint, you only get one(which is not nearly enough for a full family. but for the price who can complain ) -bargin hunter

I bought one of these cables to upgrade my system when I added a 720P monitor. I have to say that it immediately made a difference in my ability to cover the rent, however I still had some "ghosting" artifacts on the screen. I researched the theory of these cables using their corporate website and figured out what to do! I bought three more cables and two 2:1 adapters. By twisting two of the cables together and connecting them through the adapters to another cable at each end, I was able to not only eliminate the ghosting, but with the now 9 foot cable, I don't have to put the dvd player on top of the tv set!

this cable is the best of the bestests best! I connected my 3D Samsung BluRayt to my 55" samsung LCD TV that is not the best in picture quality and i was blown away at the dramatic increase in resolution. Regular HD content was suddenly looking 3D, so much depth in colour and the lines were crisp no matter how fast the picture was moving. 3D movies were another world, i was dodging the images as they darted out the screen becuase they are so life like. Amazing doesnt describe it enough. This cable is the bomb and well worth the extra money, its the next level x100. I was reconfiguring my setup, removing the HDMI from the TV end, while i was messing about i sat on the HDMI cable end and I swear i had images of 3D Avatar in my mind!!! Crazy i know, but true.

I bought 2 of these cables to run between my TV and various home theater components. Unfortunately, my jealous little sister took them, tied them together and started using them as a skipping rope. Missing a jump and a subsequent trip led to one of the ends popping off. Luckily, I purchased the additional Best Buy Extended Warranty and they replaced them lickity split just in time for the family's annual Miracle on 34th Street viewing. The picture is phenomenal and the audio - Jimmy Stewart didn't stutter once! I'm telling you...Every time a bell rings, you should get an AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable.

I am reminded of the saying, "Big things sometimes come in small packages." Here is an example: The "AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI Cable"'s connectors look like they are too big, but fit perfectly both in the hand and the slots on the devices. Bravo! I was also very pleased with the 10%-for-free "3.3ft" length of the cable. What a bonus for when 3ft length is just too tight; it means that I don't have to worry with turning the devices around if they might be around 3ft from connector-to-connector. (You've tried those lazy-susan type turntables for under a TV, I assume - for when you use a TV in two parts of a room and want to turn it around - and you need some extra length for the connector on the TV as it turns around. See what I mean!?)

Previously, the bar for excellence for my home theater system was set by a straightened out coat hanger. While the cost is certainly higher than that medium, this cable works even better than that implementation. I used to purchase exclusively Monster cables until an online review turned me on to the usage of coat hangers. Now I will exclusively purchase AudioQuest Diamond 3.3' High-Speed HDMI cables. At an amazing 3.3', I was even able to put my DVR on a separate shelf in my home entertainment center than the TV. Must have for any home theater enthusiast, and for only $1,095.99, even a great entry-level cable for people who want to dabble with perfection.

I have seen cables out there that tear and don't give me that futuristic picture like these baby do. Ive spent thousands of dollars into these hdmi cables and I've always managed to break them as I played mw2(which is the greatest game iw ecstatic made) in perfect 1080p I strongly recommend these for the hardcore gamer or blue ray player enthusiasts. Sound absolutely great I remember 8 track was great but this is like being in heaven if you have around 2000 dollars laying around id try to get a couple of them they make a great holiday gift!

I was a bit skeptical at first when the sales guy tried to get me to buy this. Now that I have it, I can't stop watching Full House in HD. It's so realistic! I am normally a Monster advocate because they produce such quality goods at the most reasonable prices, but AudioQuest has converted me. I viewed some pictures I took with my 19 Tetrapixel camera (purchased at the same time due to the silver tongued salesman) and I was blown away. The pictures look 100 times better than the actual scene I was photographing. I'm in for 4 more for my family.

When I'm not calling friends from creek beds, coveting rocks from other creek beds or colonizing crawdads, there's nothing I like better than cozying up with a hot cup of rum tea to watch one of my favorite flicks about mentally unbalanced sea captains on HD, using my handsome AudioQuest Diamond High-Speed HDMI Cable! You can REALLY see the anguish on ole Captain E.J.'s face, as he realizes he shouldn't have left those darn binoculars back at the dock again! That guy really cracks me up! (Pardon the pun.)

A hefty price tag, but you won't be disappointed. Once I opened the package, I immediately noticed the ground shaking as Angels in heaven sang. Once I plugged this glorious cable from my Blu-Ray to my HDTV, I was literally blown away. The sound, picture, and quality was too amazing. It simply blew my house down, my walls, fixture, and furniture all literally exploded, leaving me homeless. Was it worth it? Yes. I was able to experience true quality with a touch of class.

My friends and I were having a Pong tournament the other day when thr RF adapter took a turn fot he worst. In a panic we called all over town looking for a solution. Radio Shack had an RF adapter for $9.99 but this was an important tournament for us so we all chipped in and bought this bad baby. Immediately we all had the feeling like we were watching McEnroe Vs Connors at Wimbledon. We were actually able to record our tournament and sell the copies of it as Professional Tennis Training Videos. This cable really did change our lives.

Most reviewers are apparently being factious. The video quality is exceptional for sure but the what makes this product worth the clams is the added audio quality! The video should be 3D rated for 8640p but there are no certifications for that insane bandwidth. The audio is actually quantum-dimensional-hecatommyriaphonic.1 and can up-sample any mono source to a truly intense entertainment experience. Should any deity return to our planet today, they would most likely use this cable to watch their favorite reality show!!!

I cannot even begin to describe the feeling that I have gotten from this cable... I know it sounds ridiculous, but this cable has literally changed my life. Watching sports now, I feel as though I am in the front row. My girlfriend even thinks its incredible. She will literally sit there and watch me play video games because it looks so good. I mean, sure, I could have bought another 50" LED for the price of this cable, but really, why would I need another TV? Blown away
