Most of us want to cut costs and comparing a $30 HDMI cable to a $150.00 HDMI cable....well I would have gone for the cheaper one. I was researching for a new tv a few months ago and opted to get a Samsung plasma and I've been very pleased with it. I originally had a cheap $30 HDMI cable. Having being pleased with it and it worked on my LED tv downstairs I saw no reason to buy a new one for the new plasma. I hooked up my PS3 with the cable and popped in a game. To my suprise the game lagged and the sound was off! Their lips/actions that occured would be behind! I had no idea what was going on! I played with my tv settings and still nothing. Went back to best buy to ask a magnolia/geek squad specialist. He took the time to explain that HDMI cable really doesn't make a difference if you're watching regular tv say satellite/OTA/or fios, and or regular dvd's, but it does make a difference in a plasma when playing xbox 360/ps3 or blu-ray movies. Why? Because a PLASMA has 600hz refresh rate. The better HDMI cable makes a difference. I went home and plugged in this HDMI cable and he was right! Clear picture and great sound! Enjoying my new plasma more and more now. HDMI cable has been great quality.

Hey, it's an HDMI cord that works with 600Hz 3D plasma TVs. That's all you need, right? And it's cheaper than Monster, but higher quality than the off-brands. I got the 3-foot model, but wouldn't do that again now that I know what else I use it for, which is connecting my laptop to directly to the TV. Personally, I'm going to figure out how to get my WiDi on my laptop working with my TV. But, that has nothing to do with this cord. Hey, if you wanna save some bucks on an HDMI cord, but don't wanna go too cheap, then get this one. It does the job just fine.

I was told that HDMI cables produces some static electricity which would eventually lessen the quality of the cable. Well, since this is still new, I wouldn't be able to comment on that. But one thing I'm sure, this cable does what it's suppose to do. I have great picture quality on my smart TV right now. Pricey but worth it if the cable does not affect the picture quality in the long run.

HDMI is HDMI. For most, the cheapest HDMI cables available will perform as well as the more pricey versions. Unless you are installing a high end home theater system, most HDMI cables will be sufficient enough to carry the required signal. I would not go bargain basement in my selection, but I would keep economy in mind. These cables fit the bill perfectly for my budget.

I bought this cable to use for my Comcast Cable Box and Xbox 360, works better than anythign else I've tried. This is the perfect cable for non Blu-ray technology (Only reason I say that is that Blu-ray needs a higher color rating to get the full effect, this one saves money on the things that don't need the color rating). Looks amazing on HD channels and Xbox looks fantastic.

AT FIRST I DIDNT KNOW THIS HDMI CABLE WAS DIRECTIONAL AND DIDNT NOTIED A DIFFERENCE ON MY BLU-RAY AND GAMES ON MY PS3, BUT WHEN I HOOKED IT UP WITH THE ARROWS IT MADE A HUDE DIFFERENCE. THESE CABLES ARE THE TOP ONES. I HAD A $200.00 MONSTER CABLE AND THIS ONE BLOWS IT AWAY. I ALSO JUST BOUGHT A CHOCOLATE AND A VANILLA FOR MY OTHER TV'S AND THEY ARE EVEN MORE IMMPRESSIVE. THESE CABLES ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL, YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY BY THE DIFFERENCE. I SAW THINGS IN CALL OF DUTY:MODERN WARFARE 2 AFTER INSTALLING THIS CABLE THAT I DIDNT SEE BEFORE. HANDS DOWN THE BEST HDMI CABLES ON THE MARKET.

I got the cable for Christmas and it works just fine. It connected from the Blue Ray player to the tv without a problem and the picture image looks beautiful.

I bought an new Xbox 360 S and figured I should buy a better HDMI cord as well. I currently had a $50 Rocket Fish HDMI cord and researched that people were recommending the AudioQuest cords on Best Buy. Based on my experience I actually opted to get the Chocolate one first and tried it out. I payed $105 and figured to myself, "Ehhhh. You get what you pay for." Unfortunately that wasn't the case for me. When I got home and plugged I plugged the Chocolate version in and turned in my Xbox 360 S and to my surprise, it was nothing better that my old $50 Rocket Fish cord. I took it back and decided that I shouldn't be paying more for something that is getting the same quality as my old Rocket Fish cord.

I didnt realize how short the cord was...i would buy the same cord again just a longer one. this was my first hdmi cord i have bought so i cant compare it to others but i am pleased with it. It is very easy to hook up from cable box or ps3 right to your tv... the only thing i would recommend is to make sure you buy a longer cord.

Good product considering the price; comperable to the more expensive Monster connectors.

Purchased this product to connect my PS3 to my receiver for surround sound and easy set up. So far, this hdmi has held up to my expectations and sounds amazing. I will buy this product again and again.

The AudioQuest HDMI cable has provided an excellent component to my Hi-def flat panel.

i purchased these wires not because it produces a higher quality picture, but for how durable they are. yes, a $4 HDMI cable does have the same picture qaulity as these but they use extremely cheap materials and break easy. the only problem i have with these is that they are way over priced! but you pay for what you get i guess

I bought this one in the store with a new 50" plasma TV and it works just fine. I also got another 5ft 24AWG CL2 High Speed HDMI cable online from another source and it works fine too (for an old DVD/VCR w/HDMI output), but it was only $6.57 (it had very high ratings online). Maybe in five years they will all be cheap (except Monster of course); for now, I am left to wonder if I paid too much for this cable. As long as it works, I won't fret over it.

You don't need to spend this much money on HDMI cables. Little known fact is that all High Speed cables are the same and the extra shielding does close to nothing. A $2 cable will produce identical picture, and hooking up my cable box using the ancient format known as component video (5 RCA cables - cost $0) produced picture only slightly worse than than HDMI. I suppose it's nice to have a shiny green cable, but not really worth it.
