Great mid level connectors. These are very good for this price.

These connectors look good in their cloth jacket and they are very sturdy. After reading countless magazine articles telling me to switch from cheap cables, I decided to try these to replace my Acoustic Research RCA interconnects which connected my CD player to my 25w amplifier. Golden Gate costs 3X as much. There was an immediate improvement in the sound-- bolder in the mid and lower frequencies. A noticeable harshness in the vocal range that was there with the AR cables vanished with these. Listening was done with Shure 840 headphones.
Since these cables make a snug fit to the RCA jacks, I wouldn't recommend them if you frequently connect & remove connections, due to possible damage to the jacks.
