I ALMOST enjoyed this product for three uses and my unit froze up also. The audio crackled, the FM modulation was next to impossible to use. I could get a strong satellite signal, just couldn't use the unit long enough to enjoy it. Audiovox has not been any help either. Customer service is next to nothing. Lookout for the big "A" of doom on your screen! The website says to return the defective radio to the store you purchased it from, if it is under warranty. Why should a retailer have to deal with the defective product? Considering this radio is supposed to have a year warranty, I don't know of any retailer who allows returns up to one year from date of purchase. Now I have to buy another brand of XM radio or pay the disconnection fee to XM radio service. This Christmas present is costing much more than it was worth!

I love XM, but this unit is absolutely uselss. I currently have one built in unit in a GM truck. It is great. However, I wanted the ability to move the an XM unit between several cars. Several family members have older FM modulator units that work great. I figured this is what I needed. I purchased this unit, and couldn't be more disapointed. The FM modulator is SO WEAK that the it is almost inaudible. If you grab the unit with your hand, hold onto the frame of the car, and hold your mouth the right way, you can ALMOST hear the XM signal. If you are planning to use the FM modulator, DO NOT buy this unit, it will not work.

Taking my second one back today. The first one lasted two days and the second one lasted one day before they stopped projecting a signal to the stereo. Even using the direct line out cords on a home cradle or vehicle cradle, it only projects static that will fluctuate as you move the unit and its cords around, but no reception. Signal strength from the antennas show full strength on the screen but no sound. Both times I tried them out on numerous stereos, boom boxes and auto receivers to verify that it was the unit and not an individual stereo. You're taking a risk with this Audiovox product, and I'm letting everyone I know about it. My grip is with Audiovox only, not the retail outlets.

Is a great product, easy to instal and very easy to use, very good features like big fonts, permanent screen light, quick view of all the stations. I'm happy with it

I purchased this device today with much excitement but was left with extreme disappointment. The device stopped working after an hour, but before it did I found the FM transmitter performed poorly, it wouldn't even pick-up clearly on my home radio, plus the home kit (purchased separately) didn't even have an FM transmit option. I plan to return this to Best-buy and I'm sure I will get dinged a restocking fee for all my pain. I currently own a Sirius radio and was looking at changing services, but now may rethink after this experience.

No problems have been using for a few months. Great product.

We had a hard time with getting a signal. Once we were finally able to get it installed I loved it for 2 whole days when it froze and hasnt worked since. We have checked everything and all is well. It will not cut on or off. I have tried contacting the manufacturer but they 800-number is always busy. Must be others complaining. What a wonderful Christmas present.
