The cast was so diverse and each character was well played. The ending was a surprise but really could not have ended any other way. Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts were great together.

We got this movie since it was filmed closed to where i live. However it is defiantly not a film for kids. But i was really disappointed in the film, it lost my interest several times.

This is a very well made and acted movie. No problems with the technical side of things. Be warned though, this film is not for everyone. Very harsh portrayal of a family with a long history of problems. Don't let the picture on the cover fool you. This is not a feel-good, warm and fuzzy story of family reconciliation. It is just the opposite. Many times during the movie I just wanted to turn it off. The only thing that kept me going was the excellent performances by Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts in what must have been difficult roles. If you want something that will leave you happy, watch Nebraska.

I Really love this movie, Julia and Meryl are so good that hurt, they made me cry and smile in just a minute
