Bought for wife who wanted to see this movie.

Way over the top acting, I would expect more from Meryl Streep, but I guess she needed the money and signed on just for that. This was more of a made for TV movie than a featured release, and even then, I wouldn't watch it. It seemed to me that everyone in this movie was trying to out act one another, guess what, it made it even more excruciating to watch. I only watched it for about a half hour and I am surprised I lasted that long.

Vile and nasty - stopped in the middle of the film

I saw no value in this -- understand the theme of a dysfunctional family but the story is presented in a way that disgusts the viewer rather than makes its point.
