I like the idea , but sometimes it doesn't work and it forces me to use the key , I would like it had an option to open the door automatically to everyone In account ( wife and kids ) soonest day approach home , it only works like that to one person , everyone else need to pick up the phone and open the door or use the key .

Looks cool, works well. Make sure your deadbolt locks smoothly or it will have problems.

I had a lot of problem getting this lock to work. I should have let a lock smith installed it. Once it's working, the battery drains.

it is very easy to install, and I've had no issues with it using the bluetooth. There has been a learning curve with the remote operation.

So convenient. It unlocks the door for me when I get near the house. Even if my hands are full there's no need to dig for my keys. Had it for a month and it's worked consistently.

The smart lock was really easy to install and it work perfectly from the beginning. The feature that allows the door to open when you are approaching the house is just wonderful.

The lock is a bit bulky and the main feature is just opening the lock with your phone. It can be used conjunction with order locks.

I really liked the idea of this, but this product is just too glitchy. It was a little bit of a pain to install, but I was finally able to get it right. The problem is that it's very slow to connect to your phone, you have to be within 15 feet of it, and a lot of times it wouldn't connect at all unless I turned my phone off and back on again. They really need to fix all of the bugs in this thing.

We love the August. Having the automatic lock and unlock is a great convenience and security feature. We continue to comment how cool this is every time it's in action.

When it comes to smart locks this gives you one thing that not a lot other can brag about, simplicity. Product doesn't require you to change much and your old keys still work, which is benificial if you are living in a house that isn't owned and your landlord requires access to the house. Also setting up requires very a basic tool, a swrew driver. The ENITRE PROCESS Also Takes less than 10 minutes

Love the product only wish that it had wifi access without having to purchase an extra device

Very easy to install, works well sometimes, but auto unlock does have issue and will not work on android. To use from anywhere you must purchase the connect wish it was integrated

This unit bolts up in less than 10 minutes and works exactly as advertised. The app for the Apple Watch and iPhones are fantastic.

It works right out of the box. Installation was super easy and operation is super easy.

The mobile app is slow and sometimes it gets jammed, the problem is the need of another device to open the door remotely.

Very impressed with this product. i actually use it way more than i was expecting.

The lock itself works great, but I would make sure you are aware of a few things. On stronger deadbolts, I had to really work with it to actually get it to turn the deadbolt. You also have no control over the lock when outside of Bluetooth, so you basically need the wifi connection piece. Maybe just me, but I'd rather be able to monitor the lock away from the surrounding area.

A little hard to set up but once I did love it! Nice coming home and door opens when I arrive. Also works well with Comcast and their Security system

This product is a neat feature to add on to your house but I wouldn't say it add that much value to the house

Went back and forth between buying this via the actual August site or thru Best Buy. Happened to walk into the store and it was on sale! Plus I had an additional 10% coupon for it. Who can resist a sale on a product thats usually about $150?? I have yet to purchase the wifi connector; would've been great if it were bundled. All in all, no complaints
