Fabulous! I love it. It’s great never carrying my house key. I just put my cell phone in my purse when I leave and walk out the door. It locks behind me. I don’t have to search for keys when I come home with my arms loaded with groceries. The door unlocks automatically as I approach. I just love that! I have had it almost a month and it has worked every time.

I bought this on a whim. 5 minute install and maybe 10 to setup on the app. When I pull in it Auto Unlock’s so I can just walk in and not have to fumble with keys.

This august lock is smaller than the pro. I use this on my back door and have had no issues. Excellent lock and app that goes along with the lock.

The ease of installation already had me wowed. The Google Assistant integration is a little hit or miss but the door opening and closing by itself is such a lifesaver. There have been a few times where the lock itself isn't register if I was walking up to the door, making me wait until it unlocked or I got my keys out. Small bummer but it still does what it's supposed to do. The best combination, however, is with Apple products. The app for the lock seems more optimized for Apple than it does Samsung. Plus there is an apple Watch app that works via Bluetooth just like having your phone... stellar.

Installation was a walk in the park. Downloaded the apps and instant keyless control. Great way to let friends and family into your house when needed. Has a good documentation of when and how many times door was accessed. Issuing a temporary access makes it easier than ever for a house sitter or pet sitter. The cost of this unit changes my point of view with keyless entry. I was skeptic at the beginning that I had to bring my house key always until I got comfortable enough to trust the wireless system. I still bring my house key with me but this time, it's more of a backup and leave it in the car.

Bought this door lock as it worked with my existing deadbolt. Had to research a bit because you need the wifi bridge in order to make it work over internet. Easy to install. Integrates with my google home. Like the ability to be able to add users whenever I want. I can so track who unlocks the door and at what time. Can check status from lock from anywhere. Smart enough to know when door is open, so wont try to lock (needs small magnet installed below deadbolt which comes with the kit.) Was $60 cheaper than the other locks I was looking at. Happy with the purchase.

This lock looks better than the Pro and works perfectly. Easy to set up and the app is very intuitive.

This lock works great with my iPhone. I can unlock automatically when coming home and don't have to worry about finding keys. It will lock automatically as well. It says it will work with Alexa, but I never set it up. I just didn't see the need since I can control the lock with my phone. I can give codes to anyone who needs to get in my home while I am away.

Good compatibility with my echo device, easy to use and install

I have a older deadbolt so I could not upgrade it with out drilling a wider hole in the door which I did not want to do. This retrofit lock worked perfectly and the app guides you through the install with ease. It did have a issue connecting to the WiFi but after I dismissed the error it actually was connected so not really an issue. I would recommend this as you do not have to change out you existing deadbolt or worry about new keys.

I love the deadbolt replacement lock. You use your existing lock. From the outside, it looks like the regular lock. It is easy to install and set up. You can lock or unlock your door from anywhere. It automatically unlocks the door when you get home. No need to find keys and fumble in the dark trying to unlock your door.

Now that I’ve set up the lock, the wifi bridge, and the keypad properly, they work okay (not great, just okay). Initial setup was infuriating, and I’m an IT professional with a lot of experience in this area. I located the August Connect wifi bridge a mere 38 inches from the lock, in the recommended orientation, with a clear line of sight, and still the August Home iOS app was repeatedly unable to successfully test the bluetooth connection to the lock. I even used an extension cord and held the bridge just a few inches away from the lock, and still the app reported bluetooth connection test failure. I eventually just ignored the test failures and continued with the setup. Everything is working normally, so I guess there’s something wrong with the app. After setting myself up as a lock “owner”, I invited my wife to be a second owner via the August app. We followed all subsequent instructions on her iPhone, but the lock never appeared on her August app “keychain”. The only options available were to add a new August device. I ended up deleting her, then inviting her to be a guest instead of an owner. That worked. I then promoted her from guest to owner (auto-unlock only works for owners). Now that we’re both set up, the lock works okay. Keypad works, auto-unlock works, auto-lock, door sense, smart alerts — they all work as advertised except: auto-unlock forces me to wait outside the door for 10 to 15 seconds before unlocking. I might just end up using the keypad instead of waiting. It only makes sense to wait for auto-unlock if both my hands are full.

The August deadbolt lock is a great product that integrates will google assistant and google home very easily. The setup took less than 10 minutes including creating an account. Product is super easy to use and can be set up to auto lock and auto unlock as well as set up multiple notifications for different actions that occur. Super easy to share access and set up schedules for other people to have access to your house.

This took all of 15 minutes to install. Works great. App works good, too, though it gives me an error every time I lock (not unlock). Not sure what that’s about, and haven’t felt the need to call for customer support. One complaint is that the magnetic cover for the battery cover plate could use a stronger magnet.

We purchased this so that we aren't standing at the door fumbling with keys, especially in the dark, whenever we get home. We are very happy with it, as it quickly unlocks the door and the app is trouble free too. I simply put the icon for the August app in the bottom tray of my Android screen (the icons that don't move from screen to screen), and can quickly lock or unlock the door without issue. After reading the reviews, and not being interested in having the door lock or unlock unexpectedly, we are not using the auto locking or auto unlock feature. The app was helpful with finding the best placement for the communication hub. I moved it closer and closer until I found that it needed to be about 3' from the lock for optimum connectivity. I used an extension cord to get the hub closer, rather being content with a "good" level of connectivity from the outlet about 6' away from the lock. I hope this helps!

I had a friend install it. I watched as it was being done and it wasn't difficult. So far, I love using it. I've only had it on a few weeks, but I'm loving using it. I truly enjoy being able to look at my phone and double check that my door is locked.
