Lock works well, looks good and was easy to install, but if your deadbolt is not aligned perfectly and I mean perfectly, this thing keeps sending a malfunction alert. Will have to tweak with the lock, but kind of a pain in the butt when the lock doesn't work, especially if it is being used for remote access for people who don't have the physical key.

Interface works great, but in MN the doors have significant weather stripping. The deadbolt doesn't lock without pushing the door closed. You either need to file the strike plate larger or provide a tapered deadbolt to accommodate. I've purchased an additional deadbolt in addition to the August lock...

Great smart lock. Set up was a breeze and works exactly as described.

Great product, although a bit on the expensive side. Other than that, it works like a charm and have had no issues with connection. Best feature is that I can let anyone into my apartment and I don't have to be there. Also you can issue guest access with a time limit or schedule. Great for when I need someone to pick something up for me or access my apartment when I'm not home.

Lock works good except for the connect device. Only auto unlocks about half the time. When returning home about half the time we either halve to get out our phone or a key to enter the house. Also when looking at the app it says the lock shows door open and lock locked. Because of that I have to make sure that the lock is locked before we leave. Kinda kills the automatic part of this lock.

Overall the device is good. However, the bridge that allows remote control will occasionally lose Wifi connection and the lock will not lock/unlock remotely. Also, recently it stopped unlocking when we arrived home, which I assume was related to the same issue. The bridge has excellent (according to the app) WiFi connectivity as well as excellent Bluetooth connectivity to the lock.

Works as advertised. my door has a slight misalignment and had to press it in manually before i lock. This smart lock has enough torque to work through the misalignment, locks and unlocks effortlessly (even though i can hear it work hard through the misalignment). Can’t comment on the battery life yet. Overall, very satisfied.

It's really nice to pull into the driveway and get an alert on my phone/watch saying, "welcome home, door unlocked." I never have to fumble with keys while my hands are full. Glad I have it. Also - makes it easy to let the neighbor in while I'm out of town....can all be done from my phone.
