Good ANC won't impact SQ but hard to recommend

Based on the marketing materials, Ausounds supposedly prioritized sound quality (and a few other functions) with an ANC solution that is supposed to have little to no impact on sound. At least in that respect, I can report that Ausounds was *definitely* successful--there is such a minuscule impact on sound reproduction and quality with ANC running that I was hard-pressed to tell the difference on all sorts of music genres (pop, metal, alternative, instrumental) save for the most complex, over-produced, multi-layered songs in an absolutely dead-quiet listening environment. If you need some unobtrusive true wireless buds to deaden the din of a busy office or public transit commute, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how well the ANC solution DOES NOT get in the way of the music!
Unboxing greeted me with a quality-minded presentation—some foam insulation on the underside of the lid protected the case and buds while the fitted cardboard mini-box underneath held the cable and extra eartips next to the quick-start guide, manual, and warranty card. Three silicone eartip sizes are included; as was usual for me after auditioning multiple pairs of wireless and true-wireless buds, I found the medium tips to be ideal so I imagine whatever size tip you normally use will apply here as well. The slightly sculpted ends of the mostly flat touch-sensitive surfaces make it easy to feel for the “sweet spot” to register a tap/touch command without needing to fumble around for the controls—responsiveness was spot-on with taps and holds mostly registering as they should (more on that later) during the week prior to this review.
As for the product itself, you do get a lot of pretty cool features and capabilities in a svelte little package. The case has a magnetic cover and rear USB-C port charging port (excellent!), and there is a stubby USB-A to USB-C cable included in the box. The case also supports wireless quick-charging with a 4-segment LED display indicating charge level. The buds are BT 5.0 which offers some advantages for battery life and dual-play options on supported BT 5.0-capable sound sources. BT range was outstanding but obviously depended on the source; I walked a full 65 feet from my iPhone 12, outside my office, across the living room, and through the kitchen before the first dropout; I could only move about 25 feet from my FiiO X7 II before the buds cut out completely; my old iPod Nano struggled to maintain connection when carried in my pocket but the connection was stable when I moved it up to an armband holster.
The buds are rated IPX5 for light water & sweat resistance. They do not feature any kind of rubberized skirting, fins, or other anatomically shaped bulbs or arms to help hold them in place inside the various folds of the outer ear. Instead, you are supposed to rotate the bean-shaped buds either forward or rearward until you get a snug fit nestled outside the ear canal. I was skeptical as to how well they’d hold up to a vigorous workout so I ran with them 2-3 miles every day for about a week. I was surprised that only one time did I notice the right bud feeling like it was just starting to shift out of place—definitely on par and even a bit better than other workout-oriented buds I’ve used over the years. However, my daughter has VERY tiny ears and couldn’t really get them to fit securely because they lack any kind of apparatus to help hold the buds in place, so keep that in mind if your ear anatomy is somewhat on the smallish side.
The AU Stream Hybrids support voice assistant activation and offer three types of sound modes during playback—ANC on, ANC off, and the obligatory hear-through that uses the built-in mics to help with situational awareness of the world around you while still pumping audio through the buds. As is becoming more common these days, you can operate either bud independently as well as in stereo mode which is helpful if you intend to use the buds to serve double duty for music/video playback and taking/making single-eared phone calls. Switching from stereo to full mono is as simple as putting one of the buds back in the case and the changeover is automatic; going from mono to stereo is just as seamless once the second bud is out of the case. Thankfully, the buds offer many spoken feedback cues rather than beeps and tones so you know what’s going on when you power up the buds, connect to a source, or change ANC settings.
But not everything was “summit-fi” awesome. Sound quality was mostly very good—highs and female vocals were clear without a hint of harshness or sounding sibilant. Imaging was actually decent for in-ear buds with L/R separation just slightly outside the head. Mids were lively and detailed enough to pick out individual instruments from a crowd; mid-bass and transient response was also good though the buds struggled to produce a really thick, thumpy low end (which is certainly not impossible for good, IEM-style buds). Don’t get me wrong, they do sound very nice; but compared against my higher-end, non-ANC buds revealed what I can only describe as a bit of a listless, overly neutral, or even “veiled,” sound signature in comparison. I suppose I should give the Ausounds the benefit of the doubt and call them more “polite” or “laid back”—but that’s typically not what I’m after when I pull out a pair of buds for a workout or commute. If I’m after neutrality for critical music listening, I’ll use a high-quality DAP, a dedicated headphone amp, and some really nice open-backed, over-the-ear headphones—but for a commute or workout or discreet jams at the office where the wireless features and ANC are the primary draws, I’m looking for something that’s lively and engaging and “fun” to listen to, rather than something a bit more tame and sedate. These sort of get there, but I feel like they are the kind of buds that are begging for a companion app to customize the sound signature (there is none). And sadly, despite the fact that they are BT 5.0-capable (i.e. higher bandwidth), they do not support higher quality codecs like aptX or aptX HD, which feels like a missed opportunity to elevate their potential beyond the competition. So…sound quality on its own is definitely listenable and enjoyable, but it isn’t what I would consider top-tier given the premium these buds currently command--YMMV.
Mic quality for phone calls was pretty good with callers telling me I was reasonably clear while out for a walk with the dog. ANC was decent, very similar to some other mid-fi ANC buds, but nothing approaching the likes of Sony or Bose-caliber noise reduction. They’ll definitely help quiet out car and bus rides, or fan and A/C noise, but they’ll only take the edge off the sounds of things like clicky keyboards or a loud restaurant—they certainly won’t ensconce your head in a bubble of near-black silence if that’s what you’re hoping for. But again, the ANC solution they do provide manages to give you a decent cut in ambient noise without impacting the music underneath which is definitely no small feat. I personally did not notice any tell-tale ANC hiss, so that was definitely a plus.
Usability did take an even bigger hit in my book, however. For one, there are no onboard volume controls so you’d better have your phone or DAP in your hands, or have settled on a normalized volume for your playlist before you start your run, because you can’t adjust the volume on the fly through any of the touch controls. And because the control scheme had to be largely duplicated between buds to allow either to be used independently, there are certain things you can’t do like change the ANC setting while you’re in the middle of a call because the control you’d hold down for 3 seconds to switch modes will disconnect the caller first (hold for 2 seconds)!
Pairing and reconnects also didn’t always work as advertised. First, I had some difficulty getting the buds into pairing mode if one bud was already connected to a different device. Now, you’re supposed to be able to hold the bud controls down for 8 seconds to enter pairing mode—but…NOPE, often times they would simply cycle through a new ANC setting (3 second hold) and then shut off after about 5 seconds. BTW, “power-off” using the touch controls is an undocumented function because nowhere in the manual does it say you can manually turn off the buds! Worse still, when I was troubleshooting a pairing problem with my FiiO DAP, I wanted to try resetting the pairing record only to discover that the pairing memory reset procedures were different between the included instruction manual and the same manual online…but neither seemed to work to clear the memory or put the buds into pairing mode, and the online manual referred to a “base button” on the charging case that for the life of me I cannot even find! Oh, and unlike virtually every other BT headphone or earbud, the pairing mode here is signified by blue flashes rather than alternating the red and blue LEDs (it has both); the fact that entering pairing mode isn’t accompanied by a voice prompt wasn’t helpful, either.
During my time with the AU Stream Hybrids, I came to regard them as a pricey “backup” pair of true wireless earbuds. Yes, I’ll be keeping them because they offer good, but definitely not excellent, sound quality (at least to my ears); and they feature decent, but not exceptional ANC--perfect for the gym or car when pristine sound quality isn't as big a concern. Again, that ANC does not sacrifice the sound quality you do get, which is definitely a distinction worth noting. But my experience also revealed some dodgy usability issues, and the lack of onboard volume controls, or even a companion app to help personalize the sound profile, make me question the value proposition of these buds for someone else given what similarly priced competitors can do for even better sound quality, and what some budget-priced competitors can do with similar quality ANC.

Great Sound, Lacking Features!

Ausounds - AU Stream Hybrid True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds - Black provides great sound quality in its effort to complete with and play in the big league brands. Offering great sound quality and compact design, it lacks some of the basic feature that have become synonymous with wireless earbud.
I found this set of earbuds to offer great sound quality, good range, and good volume. I do, however, disagree with the numerous 5 start ratings available for this product. I found the features very limited, user experience difficult to work, and there is no app available on the Apple App Store which is almost the basic essential for any earbud on the market. The lack of app makes me question the ability to update any firmware for future OS updates on phones or other Bluetooth products. Additionally, the instructions are very limited with something akin to poorly written instruction from overseas for a knockoff product.
I found the charging case to be good, however, it is slippery due to the all plastic design. The charger case works good, stores a charge so that the earbuds can be charged on the go without needing a plug in. I found the earbuds themselves to be slippery as well, fully smooth plastic, and I almost dropped them several times pull them out of the case. They were also uncomfortable after extended use causing my ears to hurt due to the pressure on the ear structure. This does seem to happen with other earbuds I have tried, but for the price point I expected them to be more comfortable over the longhaul.
PROS
- While unfamiliar with AUSounds brand, I felt that they produced great sound quality, range, and volume
- USB-C and Wireless charging
- Cord and additional ear plug sizes included
- Smaller than similar charging case makes for easy on the go or in your pocket
- 4 LED indicator lights let you know when you are fully charged
- Good packaging makes this product seem premium out of the box
CONS
- Plastic all around/Slippery
- Uncomfortable after long periods of use
- No Smartphone App
- Limited instruction
- User interface is difficult to learn/setup with limited instruction and no app
The sound quality make these earbud worth the price for some people. Others may find the price to be high considering other options within the same price point.

Excellent sound and compact form

These AU-Stream Hybrid earbuds are an excellent fit and feel for a premium sound experience. In the box you get the left/right earbuds, the charging case, a USB-C cable and ear tips for maximum comfort and fit. They're not too bulky or cumbersome, and they slide into your ear quite well and stay in place for a snug fit without having to worry about them being loose or falling out. The ear tips are key to choose for your anatomy and to ensure you have a snug fit for the best sound quality and experience.
Right out of the box it feels like a nice premium earbud and charging case. I was able to get the earbuds paired up with my Apple iPhone XR within a few seconds, as these are Bluetooth Type 5.0. The case is compact enough to hold the earbuds without being oversized. These earbuds offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) which really helps to block out the world around me so I can focus on my phone calls or media enjoyment. You can turn the ANC on or off depending on what your preference is in a given situation. Also available is the option to have "monitor" mode which allows you to be aware of the surrounding situations and people around you. These earbuds have touch controls which takes a bit of learning to know what each touch/tap can do. Fortunately there is a provided user guide within that describes the interactions. Touch controls will benefit you in order to answer/end call, play/pause music, previous/next track, ANC toggle mode, activate your device's voice assistant, and enter into pairing mode. The feature that is most glaringly missing here is volume control, which I feel is a must have in true wireless earbuds. These are also IPX5 waterproof for minor water spray and sweat proof.
The charging case is also fantastic for rapid wireless charging on a QI charging pad, so you have the option of wireless charge or USB-C charging. Fully charged earbuds within 1.5 hours is a big win for those days when you're on the go. A 15 minute charge will get you 3 hours of music playback. Total battery life with a fully charged case will give you up to 25 hours of total battery life.
When it comes to sound quality, you are getting sound delivered to you from a 9mm AU Titanium Driver that keeps this small earbud nice and lightweight. The sound quality for music, podcasts, and phone calls has a great balanced range to it. The bass sounds adequate and the high treble notes sound clear and crisp. These are a premium sound experience for everyday use for just about everyone.
PRO:
Sound quality is excellent
Fit and form feels nice in ear
Charging case has QI rapid charge capability
Active Noise Cancellation
CON:
Lacking volume controls on earbuds

Most comfortable by far!

Wireless earbuds are essential to everyone today. I have tried several premium models and these Ausounds are by far the most comfortable I have ever used! Comfort is half the battle with this product space. These are shaped differently than what I have seen in the past. They are literally cradled by your ear. You’ll understand when you install them. And they stay put! Sweat is no obstacle. There are only three sizes of nib, and all are silicone, but I had no need for any more than that. The controls are blessedly simple. I have had buds that had different functions right and left. Tapping the right side did one thing, tapping the left, something different. It was like a test to recall which side did what. These both have the exact same functions on both sides! Lefties rejoice, you have just as much power to answer a call, skip a track, turn on noise cancellation, or activate a voice assistant as your right handed buddies!
The case shows the level of charge for the buds on the outside. It will charge via usb-c or wirelessly on a charging pad. Mine were at one bar out of the box. They went to full charge within 20 minutes. That means the case and the buds are fully charged. The buds charge in the case three times before you’ll need to plug it back in. I found the case to be a little less premium than other brands, but it works great, and it’s definitely sturdy. Pairing is a breeze, and the instructions tell you how to unpair as well—something I have had to search for on others. The quick start guide gets you paired and listening, but it does not include all the functions. Be sure to refer tot the actual instructions to get the best functions, especially automatic noise canceling.
The sound is fantastic! Excellent separation, and I heard details in songs I have never heard before. One in particular, I could hear the damper pedal on the piano, and the key press. That was WITH noise canceling ON! The bass is rich and not manufactured. There is no need for a special mode to get the true sound through these. I did try the different modes of my phone EQ and all sounded distinct and as intended. But I prefer the pure unfiltered. I HIGHLY recommend Ausounds Stream Hybrid ear buds.

I’ve had a fair share of true wireless headphones, from top end to extreme budget knock off and I hate to start this review like this, but these barely felt better than the budget knock offs.
First, let me give the positives that make these better than the no-name budget set. These have active noise cancelling that is fairly noticeable when not listening to music at volume. You can cycle ANC on/off and enable monitor mode which is like listening to the word through the microphone on the headset. The rechargeable case can charge the headphones multiple times and be charged with wireless chargers or USB-C, included with a USB-A to USB-C cable. The battery life claims up to 9 hours, but this is dependent on having ANC enabled and volume levels. I have had them on for several hours and usually end up needing to take them off before running dead. The case then does a fairly quick charge of the earbuds. It also uses BlueTooth 5.0, so the range can be fairly far from the listening device.
Now the things that really threw me off with this headset start from just opening the package and getting them out. I get what they are trying to do, give it that “iPhone” package feel, but it took some effort to even get the earbuds out of their tight packed plastic seat. Hope you have a little bit of a fingernail or tiny finger to grip an edge.
Then it came to connecting them, which I only took one out and it paired right up. Thinking that taking the other one out would sync, but it didn’t. I had to connect it as well, odd as you would think it is a pair. But, doing so disconnected the other as if they were two different headphones. So, unpair, start over, pair it while both are out of the case together. This time worked and tried the same with a different phone, so long as both are out no issues. Then a couple minutes into listening they interrupt the sound. As if they quickly disconnect/connect. Figured it was a fluke, but it seems it happens almost every time a few minutes after they first connect from coming out of the case, as if they are switching primary control. Really annoying when you’re already in groove with the music.
All of the controls are by tap and touch on the earbud. Tap once to play/pause, twice to skip, three times for voice assistant, hold 2 seconds to drop call, 3 seconds to change ANC/Monitor mode, 8 seconds to disconnect/power off. All dependent on if it registered the tap and it cycles through the functions, so it will change the ANC mode as you are trying to power it off. The audio prompts don’t interrupt the audio at all, so you can’t hear what ANC mode you are in unless you pause your music first then hold 3 seconds to listen for the prompt.
Now, audio quality is pretty decent when the ANC/Monitor mode is off. There is a full range from deep bass to crisp highs. However, when those modes are on it is like it increases the bass but then distorts sounds if there are mixes of high/low at the same time. Really noticeable when listening to 90’s alternative/grunge as some of that bass and guitar strums through. The call audio of the microphone has also been described as clear but distant and can-like from individuals I have called while using them.
Overall, these aren’t the worst headphones I have ever used, but in comparison to their price I expected a whole lot better. Besides the active noise cancelling and wireless charging of the case there isn’t much difference from ones that are 1/4 the cost.

I have NOT been a fan of earbuds at all for several reasons --- there is almost always a connectivity issue, the sound quality is mediocre, or the biggest problem, which is that they never fit into my ear well enough to stay put no matter what my activity is. The AU earbuds check all of these boxes thankfully.
MAJOR PROS
- Dual microphones - these can connect to Siri or Google
- Battery life is awesome! Like over 5 hours for me during my last long road trip. Plus the case they stay in charges them and you just hook the case up to the charger periodically depending on how much you use them.
- Connection was easy as pie but be sure to connect each bud separately.
- Touch controls are very sleek and work as expected
CONS --
- The noise cancelling feature isn't as prominent as in other earbuds I've used
-The transparency mode is not as useful as it must be entered PRIOR to answering or making phone calls. I learned this the hard way when I tried to do so and the call was forced to disconnect. I called customer service and there is no way around this.
- It doesn't really have the pass through feature some other headphones have where you can push a button and hear your surroundings or talk to someone. It has an ambient mode but that's about it.
-Designers didn't think to make some actions to be left/right bud specific --- this would have helped a lot in freeing up space for more commands and it would be more user friendly this way in my opinion.
Regardless of the cons, I just can't get over how they actually stay in my ears and fit perfectly in --- so just for that alone, I would recommend these.

Unboxing: They came with the charging case, usb cable, buds and different ear tips. The included items was great except I had to spend about 6 min trying to pair them. The first few times only one paired but eventually I got them both paired.
Use experience:
My first impression of these were great! The case holding the earbuds is sleek and charged pretty fast. The earbuds themselves are comfortable in my ear and they also offer different sizes to fit your ear better if you need! I’ve worked out in them and they stay in and haven’t had any issues like I’ve had with other headphones.
Cons: None except the initial pairing issues. Also would be nice if you could use an ear loop with them. Voice features to prompt Siri are ok but would be better when using and not working out as there is little value in that department.
Summary:
Haven’t had any battery life issues as the case keeps them charged which is great for convenience. Overall love the sound and it blocks noises pretty well with a good bass to it!

Ausounds - AU-Stream ANC True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds came with Charging Cable, Charging case, 3 sizes of silicone ear tips, and manual, Quick start Guide and warranty. Setup is quick and easy. I have paired the earphone with iPhone 11 without any issues. I did a full charge before first use.
The audio/call quality is really great. The battery life is good and it lasts around 20 hours as advertised. I have used for five hours of talk and music playback and a pocket-sized case provided additional fifteen hours of charge. The charging case can be charged using a USB C cable as well as wirelessly.
Earphone fits perfectly on ears and It is really convenient to wear for an extended period of time and did not face any discomfort at all.
The build quality is good and the sound quality is great for music and calls. Active Noise cancellation is not working as expected like other premium brands as I am able to hear sounds while listening to music.
The master dual switch technology automatically is a nice feature that switches to and prioritizes active earbud. AU Stream detects active earbuds is in the ear or still charging in the travel case and switches audio playthrough and microphone reception to the active unit. It is waterproof with an IPX5 rating and supports AI voice assistant.
There is no app available in iOS and no adjustments can be done via an app like other brands. There are some key features missing like a phone app to adjust settings, improved ANC which become standard in other brands, and opportunities to improve in future models.

First day was a rough start for me. Left ear bud did not connect. So I charged again and that fixed it. Also it did not last past 4 hours on the first day.
Second day was better. It lasted a full day at WFH for Covid-19.
Noise cancelling was pretty good. I used it during a DIY home project and it filtered the hammering and mild power tools.
Sound quality was good. Controls was good and easy to use. Comfortable and stayed in during work out and sweating up a storm.
Case was good it lasted 4 ear bud charges and needed a refresh.
If it was not for the first day I would have given it 5 stars.
I would recommend this product.

I've primarily used the earbuds for conference calls either using my iPhone or my windows 10 PC (using zoom and teams). The quality of what I hear is great, and the quality of people being able to hear me is great too. I have used them to listen to some music, which is OK but I feel lacks some bass with no way to adjust this. The side buttons work well once you figure out what they do. My biggest let down is that there isn't an app that you can download to your phone to better control the sound and function. Here are some thoughts:
Pros:
Quick connect when you take them out of the case (turns on and connects to the last device)
Small so easy to carry around
Good sound and a good mic for conference calls
Cons:
Only works with one device so if you use them on two, need to turn off Bluetooth on one to connect to the second.
No app for better control on a phone
Overall good earbuds that are small, and I would recommend if you plan to use them to call either on a phone or Bluetooth enabled PC. But if you want to use them for music, you may want to check others that offer more control with and app.

I lost my Apple airpod pro's I was going to buy another pair. I saw a cool post on facebook for these Ausound Stream Hybrids and like the design as it doesn't have a stem. I like the way these fit in my ear and dont have the stalk. I am blown away by the sound Quality, I listen to Jazz and rock and am thrilled with the level of sonic detail. The bass is so tight and accurate, Very impressed and really happy I tried these. I love them. The case is smaller than the apple airpod which is a bonus. was a breeze to pair and the charge in 1 1/2 hours. Highly recommend.

I am really impressed with these earbuds. They check all the boxes:
-USB type C
-Qi charging
-Waterproof IPX5 rating
-Good battery life
-BT 5.0
The control make sense and are easy to understand. You don't need to do a headstand to use the voice assistant!
The sound is good, clear, crisp with enough bass to make a workout thump.
They are very comfortable and stay in your ear with no issue. You can bypass the ANC, which is pretty important to notice that bus coming at you.
One of the big things I like, the right ear bud goed in the right charging slot and the left goes in the left. One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to wireless earbuds.
I found only a few drawbacks:
-Battery life is not as good as some of the competitors
-Charging isn't quite as fast as I have seen elsewhere
-Volume does not seem to max at the same level as others I have tried
-ANC isn't the best I have tried, but works very well
-No volume controls (the only reason I dropped a star)
Overall I really like these earbuds. While I listed some drawbacks they are not show stoppers and I would definitely recommend these for the controls alone. If they only controlled the volume...

Sound quality is the first thing I look for on any audio device. For that reason, I always listen to HD-quality streaming or lossless compression music. Comfort is second, and third is look and design.
First, I was impressed with both passive and active noise cancelling modes although I only tried the latter after I had tested everything else. The reason is that active noise cancelling affects the quality of the audio even though it is acceptable in noisy environments, which could take away any joy from the music you’re listening to anyway. Base was very good, comparable to high end brands out there. The titanium drivers are great but when in active noise canceling mode, the buds sometimes sounded like I was in a big room. It didn’t happen every time but often enough to rub me the wrong way.
The second issue was pressing and holding the buds to select a function. Two seconds for one function, three seconds for another is so easy to get confused that the buds themselves often performed the two-second option instead of the three-second one. Trying to get the transparent mode on was a chore.
Unless I got a defective or non-updated firmware, they don’t disconnect Bluetooth when in the charging case. Every time somebody calls me, audio goes to the buds in the case.
As for looks, I like them better than many other buds out there. They are also very secure. I worked out with them and they stayed in place all the time. Since it is waterproof, no worries there either. Comfort, a key feature to me is also good. In these categories, they are outstanding. I haven’t had to recharge the case yet but battery time seems to be enough for average users.
If it weren’t for the issues I mentioned, I would definitely give them a better rating. In passive mode, they sound very good. In active mode, it works really well too although it can alter the sound more than other noise canceling sets I’ve owned. Alexa, Google and Siri assistants work without a glitch.

I really wanted to love the AU Stream headphones but they have left me disappointed. First, the good. The headphones themselves are light and comfortable. Like others on the market, the come with different sized tips to customize the fit for your ear. Once I found the right set, they were easy to put in and felt like they would stay put, even with moderate movement. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive once you figure them out. The ANC works well and doesn't have any noticeable hissing or white noise I generally associate with that feature. It does not seem to impact the sound quality in the least while blocking out ambient noise respectably. I like the small size of the charging case; it is easily slipped into a pocket and doesn't have a lot of extra unnecessary bulk. There is no charging block included so you have to provide your own. Battery life has been excellent so far. I use them with ANC on at a relatively high volume for several hours and have never had them run completely down on me. Overall sound quality is very good with sufficient bass (for earbuds) and no tinniness in the highs.
Now for the bad. Nearly every time I open the case to use these headphones, they simply will not connect. I have to go into settings, forget them, and re-pair them in order for them to work. Occasionally, only one bud will connect. It is extremely frustrating when I don't have these issues with other headphones I have. Also, sometimes during use, one or both buds will stop working fr a few seconds. Finally, the overall volume doesn't seem to be sufficient for my taste. They simply won't get loud enough when there is louder ambient noise (like a lawnmower), even with ANC on.
Unfortunately, the intermittent connection problems have kept me from being enthusiastic about the Streams or from being able to recommend them. Perhaps a future software update can fix the issue but until then, these won't be in my go-to pile of electronics.

These are my new favorite true wireless earbuds! The first thing I check for on earbuds in the fit and feel. It doesn't matter how good they sound if they're uncomfortable. the Au Stream Hybrid earbuds are the most comfortable true wireless earbuds I've tried, and I've tried many. They're easy to pop in, with no twisting to get a good seal. Just pop and go.
Charging is through the USB-C connector, but the case also supports wireless charging with a Qi charger. It's really convenient to place the case on the charger and charges quickly. Battery life seems solid. I haven't run the charge down yet because I place them on the charging pad every afternoon, but I wear these for several hours while at work and haven't had them run down on me yet. The charging case is extremely small, definitely small enough for a decent pocket, and it feels well-made and sturdy.
Of course, you buy ear buds for the sound, and these sound amazing, especially for the price. The mids and highs are clear and bright, and the bass is solid, but not overpowering. If you're a bass lover, these might not be the right fit, but overall the sound is nice and balanced.

Good Earbuds, but still lacking

These ear buds have some excellent qualities, but just enough misfires to keep them from being great. To start, they come packaged very nice. Exactly what you would expect from a premium product. However, unlike you would expect, the little tab sticker thing to pull out the inner box just came off. So I had to fiddle with it a bit. Not a big deal, but definitely doesn't set a good tone for such a nice set of ear buds. In the package you get the buds, charging case, USB-C cable, and 3 sets different sized ear tips. Surprisingly, the ear tips actually fit me. I have very large ear canals, and getting a good seal, even with large tips, is usually a chore for me. Not this time around. I was able to play them in my ears and get a great seal without much fuss. And they are comfortable for long periods to boot! Moving on to sound quality, this is where these things truly shine. They sound absolutely great. I'm no audiophile, but all I know is that I've never had another set of ear buds that sounded this good. Even with the active noise cancellation on. Speaking of, the ANC works great. It drowns out most of the annoying ambient noise you don't want to hear so you can just enjoy your music. Next is battery life. This part kind of blew my mind. These things have over 20 hours of battery life packed into and absolutely tiny package. I honestly don't understand how they pulled that one off. And to top it off, the case can be placed on a wireless charger and be fully charged in only a couple of hours. I am able to use these all week on a single charge with no problem. Next is user experience. Which is where we start to lose points. To begin, there is no volume control. This got really annoying to me. It seems like a really big mis step, and a really obvious feature to include. I honestly thought I was just missing it, but after looking through the documentation, and really messing around with the a lot, nope, it's just not there. Next, I dn't know if I have a deffective pair or what, but it seems that every time I tap the bud to either skip or pause a song, that bud will temporarily lost connection or something, because the sound will cut out for a second or two and then start back up. Lastly, there's no app. At this price point, I would expect an app that would allow you to do things like adjust the EQ. Another missed opportunity in my opinion. These seem like small gripes, and to some they might be. But in my time using them, they were annoying enough to really diminish the user experience.
So in conclusion, these are pretty good ear buds with fantastic sound quality and battery life. However, a few small design missteps really hold them back from being the perfect set of buds that everyone is after.

Noise cancelling is the best feature

So if audio quality is most important to you and you want a pair of wireless earbuds these are pretty hard to beat. If you’re looking for noise cancelling that does a really good job these are hard to beat. Also, if you hate extra apps and configuration stuff, these are ones you’ll probably enjoy as well because they don’t exist. Those are probably the main features that I really liked about them, that and the fact that. Overall these hit everything I like in a set of truly wireless buds if I want to lock out the world.
Size: the size of the buds and more importantly the case is almost perfect, there are a few other products out there that might have slightly better dimensions but overall these are small enough to fit in just about any pocket for your anytime buds.
Battery: These definitely don’t have the best battery out there, they got me most of the way through a work day (WFH) when I used them exclusively and ran ANC most of the day. The next day I used them like I would normally use buds, jump between my over the ears for longer sessions at my desk and then put the buds in when I am up and around or going for a jog. For that they last all day and the next two before I needed to charge them and the case, that’s where I ran into something a little weird but after I figured it out I see it as a feature. If you drain the case completely the earbuds will not turn off if you put them in the case. If you tap on both for about 3 seconds they will power off and repeat to power back on, after I figured that out I thought that was rather useful as it allows you to power your earbuds on and off still even if you case is completely dead. But be aware that if your case is completely dead they will not disconnect from your phone if you put them back in case and you’ll need to manually power them off. Over all the battery life is okay, not absolutely amazing but also not bad either.
Sound: You can really tune out the world with these, including other music. My kids know how to run Alexa and at full volume too, so I’ll try to tune out the world, I’ve turned to over the ear headphones for that in the past, these delete that music from my life as in ear buds which is awesome if I am anywhere besides right by the music source (Alexa had to leave my office). If you are into messing with your music via an equalizer, you’ll need to use the built in one to most android and I believe iPhones or download one from the app store as there is no app (which I personally view as a benefit)
Voice assistant: I don’t know if I was just doing something wrong or if it was my phones, but I could not get the assistant to work every time, it was very hit or miss, I don’t really use voice all that much when I have my phone right in my hand so this didn’t bother me all that much but it’s something to consider.
Charging: It has USB C and wireless charging that works on a full size phone charging pad with zero issues so I am quite happy with the charging options.
Fit: I don’t really have a giant issue with fit, as long as you like or are looking for the soft rubber tip fit, these work great, they haven’t fall out of my ears not matter my activity level including a few jogs.
Connectivity: They are Bluetooth 5.0, which means that they can have some serious range depending on the phone or device that you are connected too, I had one phone that has terrible range with most wireless buds, including other ones that use 5.0. These still connect across the house until I go into a different room and then they start to lose connectivity so I would say they are extremely good there. If you are looking for buds that connect to multiple phones, these aren’t for you. They can remember a few phones but you’ll need to disconnect from one to connect to the other so no listening to music on one phone and then answering an incoming call on another phone.
Microphone: Not much to say here besides they work good, which is to say excellent for truly wireless buds. They also are clear when you only have one bud in (either bud). I tested them outside (neighborhood) as well as while doing the dishes (water running) and nobody was able to pick up the water running or other sounds.
Other features: There are four LED lights on the front to show you that it is charging which is useful, the controls are simple enough and aren’t programmable, there is no app to mess with. Earbuds can be used together or separately (both are independent). If you’re watching a video there isn’t a lag.
Pros:
Sound quality
Case size
Noise Cancelling is excellent
Microphone works well
Buds are independent
Wireless charging
No app to worry about downloading
Cons:
Voice assistant launch doesn’t always work
Battery life is okay but not amazing
No app to customize controls and such

AUsounds wireless earbuds are pretty cool, fit well & comes with different size buds to make a comfortable fit,has a portable charging case that’s charges pretty fast, the charge has lasted about a week using them daily for about 2- 2 1/2 hours at a time, the sound quality is awesome easy & quick connect, voice activated, noise cancelling. They have been easy to use compared to some others I’ve had trying to figure out how to answer calls & vol up or down change songs etc, these are pretty easy. Only con I have is I feel the volume does not go high enough for me had my boyfriend try the. Out he loved them but also felt volume was to low.

I'm a true audiophile. I love sound quality and listen to a wide variety of music. So to find earbuds that cover all of that range and sound amazing across the board it's like hitting the jackpot!
Add to that comfort and fitment being perfect, once these are in your ear they fit so well it blocks out background sound as soon as they're settled in correctly. They fit snug even with activities so you don't have to worry about these falling out.
The bass is deep and rich. The highs and midtones are crisp and clear. I'm guessing due to in part of the titanium drivers these have. They're quoted at having 25 hours of battery life once fully charged. And 4-5 hours of play time but down to 3-4 hours with noise cancelling on. I didn't use them long enough to fully drain them but using them on the plane watching a 2.5 hour movie and then music before and after I still had battery life before taking them out to charge.
They come with multiple size covers for different size ears as well. I'd highly recommend these to others looking for excellent sound in their earbuds
