I bought this as a gift for a friend who is in love with all things Jane Austen. The movie is cute and my friend loves it.

This was a good value for what we got. It's a cute, silly movie and the extras make it entertaining as well.

This is a movie that looks period,but is actually set in the present day..and how she {the heroine of the movie} is a total failure at present day relationships..because she just has her mind set on Mr.Darcy of Pride and Prejudice and no normal guy can ever measure up to her standards..she saves all of her money to go this theme park and it is fun at first...Jane Seymour is really good in her role in this movie....though...I have seen her in much better period films...like Somewhere In Time for instance...but she gives a good performance....but yes is good for a weekend movie and a kinda film you want to keep going back to

If you are a Jane Austen 'story-telling' fan, as my spouse and I are, this DVD was a foolproof purchase. We both enjoy this author's body of work, perhaps not as fanatically as Kerry Russell in Austenland, but being familiar with all things Austen, we got a big kick, total fun and thorough enjoyment watching this novel video's story as it unfolded to a typical Jane Austen conclusion. We highly recommend this movie to all devoted Jane Austen fans.

I LOVE this movie!!! I enjoyed it so much! Jane Seymour is very funny in her role and I loved how over-the-top the movie was. Jennifer Coolidge had me laughing until I cried! The plot twist had me so surprised and I had to watch it again just to see it in the new light. It was a really fun romantic comedy and is right up there with my favorites! I even got my husband to watch it and he laughed too!

I really enjoyed this movie. I rented it first not knowing if I would like it and ended up watching it twice before returning it. Wanted to buy this movie for awhile, and Best Buy had the best price around, also had it in stock! I love Jane Austen movies, and liked that it had 21st elements in it. I would love for there to be a sequel.

I can relate, however not to the the extreme of being a fan of Mr. Darcy. There is no Darcy like Colin Firth in the BBC edition. The movie was funny and entertaining. I like the theme of the Language and the Manners of the time. However is good to remember the value placed on women in these days, I guess I would rather take my chance in today's society of not being a trade off, or having to find a good financial catch to ensure my lifestyle.

Kerry Russell is enamored with Jane Austen's novels and plans a trip to Austenland, the pseudo-Disneyland for Jane Austen fans. Her adventures, while at this amusement park, are similar to Jane Austen's characters' in her novels, including with Mr. Darcy!

If you're a fan of Felicity and Jane Austen with a twist of comedy, this is a great film to see. It's fun to watch as a Jane Austen fan, but it's even better because it makes fun of itself and Jennifer Coolidge just makes everything better. I've enjoyed it every time I've watched!

I never heard or saw this movie until I was browsing at my local Best Buy store. I saw the title and took a chance since I'm a fan of Austen's works. I'm glad I did, it had numerous references and was funny! I enjoyed it and recommend to anybody who liked the Mama Mia! movie.

This movie is hilarious! And it was super cheap for blu ray. The only thing I had a problem with was the packaging. It was in a cardboard envelope. And I didn't like the idea of the movies potentially getting crushed. But other than that great!

This is a wonderful movie I have watched five times since purchasing. I'm not saying everyone will feel this way but I do think anyone will find this movie hilarious, quotable and heartwarming. A cute story excellently executed.

I know this movie won't be for everyone but I loved it. I'm also a Pride and Prejudice fan with a sense of humor - if you fall into that category, I recommend this movie for you. My girls (ages 12 and 15) also loved it.

I really liked this movie. It's a really enjoyable tribute to the Austen genre in a modern tale. Keri Russell was excellent. It will be added to my other collection of Austen movies.

My wife saw movie twice on one week. Since it pokes fun of Austen obsessives I wouldn't consider it a chick flick. I thought it was definitely worth buying. Great for Valentine's day.

This might be a cheesy chick flick, but it was also very funny! Appropriate for kids 12 years & older. I bought this for my daughter as a gift.

I love the fact that I am notified when it is in my post box... the speed and the care taken by best buy is great.

This movie is sort of a spoof of the typical Jane Austen movie. As a fan of Jane Austen movies, I appreciated the humor. It had me laughing out loud, which doesn't happen with many movies.
