Haven't had a chance to take her out and really test for range, etc. so I could realistically give it 5 stars. Flies just as easy as my phantom 3 standard, more attractive and better camera. Not regretting the $800 purchase one bit.

Before I purchased my first Drone I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of product reviews. I was also lucky to have a friend that owned a Drone. I saw some of the problems that she had with hers. The Autel X-Star Premium is the best Drone for the price out there. It comes with all the details and training documents you will need. They also provide on line videos to teach you. Take the time too look at this Drone, it is worth it.

Bought this drone for my son. It is a big drone that takes beautiful video. My son is super careful handling the drone and has immersed himself in researching his drone's capabilities. The drone arrives in a hard case with accessories. My son loves the drone. He's a programmer and barely gets outdoors, but wow the drone has changed his life in a good way since he goes outside a lot to fly the drone. He has met other drone enthusiasts flying their drones while flying his. My son has also started collecting different drones. He has drone fever!

I am not sure this would be a beginner drone, but it is certainly easy enough to fly with some practice. It is not a toy, but you can definitely have fun flying it. This drone is very capable of use as an entry level commercial platform and camera upgrades are becoming available. I can't say enough about Autel Robotics and their fine product the X-Star Premium. If they can produce a product this good in only one year of operation, I can only imagine what a bright future they have. I am a commercial pilot and I highly recommend their product!

1st time drone operator and I had no issues using this as soon as I got home. Nice camera with easy to use controls. Great drone for a beginner.

This Autel X-Star Premium is AWESOME!! The color makes it easy to locate in the sky. They have all the tutorial videos you need, explained simply. I havent flown any other large drones but i can say this thing is a beast! It handles extremely well and stands up to strong winds with smooth video. The only real thing i have to complain about is the yaw is pretty jerky. Could be my fat finger.. I hear there will be firmware updates to help with these issues. All in all very pleased with this purchase

This drone is truly unbelievable. I bought it for myself right before Christmas and put it under the tree. I opened it Christmas morning and acted so surprised. I couldn't believe that all my kids took credit for getting it for me knowing that I wanted one. Took it outside right away and flew it out of the box. Amazing. Plus I had already bought a Samsung Tab A 10.1 and downloaded the starlink app and the view was unbeatable. Forget putting the app on a phone. Bought an extra battery and now I'm flying close to 45 minutes. Nothing better.

Started up with a push of a button . I flew it in my back yard where it was visible. Took some great photos! Very clear and stunning

I picked this quad up on sale at BB for 699. I have had this for over a month with zero issues. The Camera is amazing. The quad itself feels very well made and durable. It has a lot of power and great range. The case it comes with is not cheap, looks and feels very rigid. The controller, again, feels very well made and is comfortable in the hands. Everything in this kit, all the way down to the packaging looks and feels very well made. I had considered a competitor drone at first, but I am glad I went with Autel.

I ENJOY EASE OF FLYING, ESPECIALLY LIKE "GO-HOME" FEATURE MY NEXT PURCHASE IS ANOTHER BATTERY OR TWO, THAT WAY I CAN FLY LONGER.

My first real drone. Ez to learn, lots of autel robotic videos online. Flies well. Has a very good camera. A lot of fun

I have been impressed so far with the camera on this drone. I am also impressed that it pretty much runs neck and neck with the DJI Phatom models out there. The camera is very good and provides excellent photos and video in RAW and JPEG. I will be testing this drone out more here in in the next few months as it gets warmer. So far I am pleased.

Love this. Great price. Kids have a lot of fun fly it around. Great picture it take. Would buy it again.

We looked at all the semi-pro quadcopters under $1K for a 14 y.o. and the Autel got great reviews and folks spoke especially highly of the customer service. So far we have loved it, it was easy to get up and flying the first day with lots of great features. We also liked that you could change out the camera if need be though so far, the video we've shot has been amazing! Haven't had to access cust serv yet but will repost if any shortcomings.

Great pictures and video with the camera, easy to operate

I purchased this for my farmer husband to get an aerial view of his crops. Hes not tech savy so I was concerned if hed be able to get along with it. After just 2 or 3 flights hes very confident with it. Photo/video quaility is amazing.

Great purchase, great pics, great vids, great fun. Nothing complicating. Was really worried if it was gonna be hard to figure out but it was for nothing.

Love this drone easy to fly and the orange color makes it very easy to see when flying
