I bought this machine because I have a small space for a washer. However, it leaked from the beginning. It literally tied my clothes in a knot. It tore the backing off my kitchen rug. I was very disappointed with this new model from Avanti.

Good option for small spaces, even though the choice out there is limited for washers under 22 inches. The machine is top loading, without a protruding agitator, and can perform 6 different cycles. Most of my use is with the default cycle that lasts 45-50 minutes and that uses a lot of water for both washing and multiple rinsing cycles (the drum moves up and down as it spins). Hot water only comes from tap, not from heating. Besides not feeling very ecological in its water consumption, the main issue with the machine is the lack of control over the speed of the spin cycle, which is all or nothing. Although very strong and leaving clothes fairly dry at the end of the wash, the spinning is so powerful that it also tend to damage and distort clothing that end up forming knots. Not recommended for delicates. Overall though, the machine cleans well, is quiet, and seems sturdy, without any shaking or rattling.
