I took off a star because this item was a little difficult to put together. It is easier to do if two people do it together. I put it together by myself, so, it is not impossible. A rubber mallet helped get the wire supports and shelf to sit on the plastic supports securely . We use the bracket in the bathroom. It holds a portable Magic Chef 2.6CU dryer on the top shelf. A 1.6CU Magic Chef washing machine sits, on an appliance dolly, underneath it. The dolly adds 4.5" to the height of the washer. Even with the extra height, we can still open the lid of the washer when it is stored in its place. The shelf raises the dryer to a comfortable height. The dryer's leveling legs unscrew to attach it to the top shelf, but, the circumference of the legs and the ledge around the bottom of the shelf prevent all four legs from being attached. We chose to attach the dryer, to the shelf, using the back legs. We did not attach the mounting bracket to the wall, but, our set-up is very sturdy. I would recommend this bracket to anyone who needed to store these items, or others of a similar size, in a small space.
