If you have seen the movie, you know that it is known for it's visual presentation. I saw Avatar in the theatre in 3D and I must say that I enjoyed the movie even more in my home. I have a plasma television and it was incredibly impressive. Avatar is the best Blu-Ray movie I have seen to date and is a must have in your collection.

Didn't expect both a regular DVD and Blu-Ray disc. Since we recently purchased a Blu-Ray DVD player, I bought Avatar for this reason. But we also have our regular DVD player in another viewing room, we are able to view the film in that room also. Unexpected surprise as I did not know this when I pre purchased the item

I totally love this movie but I hate that my home TV screen isn't bigger. And its not IMAX ! It is going to take one hell of a movie to surpass Avatar.I don't know if they will make Avatar 2 but I can only hope. Like having a woman president !! I am also glad that with the Blu Ray I also have the regular DVD.

The graphics and animation live up to the hype. I watched this on DVD on an analog TV and my much better laptop screen. Both were excellent. I would love to see this on a big screen LED/LCD TV. I wasn't thrilled by the storyline. It was Pocohontas, Cowboys and Indians, good guys vs bad guys, etc. I was able to predict most of the action before it happened. That being said, I was thoroughly entertained and plan on watching it several more times.

Best Buy offers the 2 for 1 pack with a BluRay disc AND a regulat DVD of newer movies. This package is offered at a price lower than most big box store BluRay only packages. And, then, when I can use my Best Buy rewards discounts, I can get the movies I love for a fraction of the cost. What's not to love?

This was my first time pre-ordering a movie from Best Buy. It was a wonderful experience and it will not be my last time. What was really surprising was that I had the movie days before it was available for sale in stores. My friends and family were alittle jealous (Yeah, Thats Right :) )

The movie was very creative and well put together. It was imaginative and the movie flowed well. Even though it was 2 hours and 42 minutes you would have never known that at the end. There are no dull scenes that are boring. It captured my attention the entire time. That is rare for me.

I was never into sci-fi movies, but decided to watch this movie with the family because they really wanted to have it. It's a very entertaining movie and has a good storyline. Great visual and sound effects, especially if you watch it on blu-ray. Looking forward to any sequels/prequels!

I watched Avatar on my bluray, my whole family was very impressed!! Now my son-inlaw wants to go buy one,he said it was better than the 3D version that they all went to see>>Great bluray it is a LG BD550 easy to hook up and use has a lot of features I haven't even used yet!!

I loved the movie in the theaters and knew I had to have the DVD when available. Best Buy did it again by offering Blue Ray and DVD combo at a great price online. Watching it at home in this verision is the closest thing you can own compared to 3D on Imax...

This is one of those movies that come along every great once in a while and it changes everything in cinema. Like Star Wars did in 1977. This is a well thought out and very well made fantasy world. There is too much to explain, just watch this movie!

Great movie for the family. If you have a big screen TV and a surround sound system, do yourself a favor, go get a Blu-Ray. It's less than $100 today and watch this movie with your family. You won't be disappointed and you'll glad you did.

Basically, it is like this. If you haven't seen Avatar, there is something wrong with you. The blueray is not as good as 3-D at the theater, but pretty darned close! Up side to that, you don't look stupid trying to wave the bugs away!

I loved the movie Avatar. The action was great, but more importantly, there was an actual viable story line. The only negative I have is the sound effects are way too loud during action areas, however, most movies are that way..

When I bought the movie the family wasnt expecting much, but on the new LED tv...well, they changed their minds. I popped the movie into the DVD player and didnt have a bit of problems ... it loaded and played very well.!

Avatar, by far is the best graphic movie to date. It had a great story line which was mesmorizing to watch. I would recommend it to families and friends.This will be a great gift, or to purchase and watch over and over.

I first saw this in 3D in the theater and then pre-ordered it as soon as was possible on Blu Ray. I think the Blu Ray version is better by far. The graphics show up much more clearly and more colorful. Great on Blu Ray.

As someone who saw Star Wars when it first came out in theaters to Avatar on my HDTV and Blu ray player there is no comparison. I think this is the greatest movie ever and is a must have for your Blu ray collection!

I purchased a Plasma TV from Best Buy and it was in stock, I purchased one before from another store and they did not tell me that it was not in stock plus I had to wait 3 plus weeks to get it, "It was not Best Buy"
