I was excited about receiving the steelbook version of the first Avatar movie. Since its release date coincided with the 4-disc Collector’s Edition which includes the Theatrical Version, Special Edition, and Collector’s Extended Cut, I was hoping the steelbook also included them as it also had the same cover artwork. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be the case. Aside from that the picture quality and the surround sound is epic.

The Avatar 4k Steelbook case itself is cool and looks great next to Avatar Way of Water! BUT it unfortunately does not include any of the extra content included in the recent Avatar Collector’s edition that was released prior to this steelbook which included way more content and features such as the 4k Extended Edition of the movie or Dolby Vision for better picture when compared to the Collector’s edition. This was bought as a pre-order at Full Price. This steelbook still a decent add for huge Avatar fans but it’s a bit disappointing as far as the content received along with it. If you just want the movie / steelbook without any special features or the extended cut of the film this is for you. If you want all the extras and better 4k picture look for the collectors edition!

What Can I Say, This 4K Ultra High Definition Version Of This Legendary Film Just Screams Attention To Detail, The Colors are so vivid and vibrant. James Cameron and his team did a splendid job with this classic movie release. Easily 10/10 Highly Recommend!

Great movie! Takes you on one heck of a journey across the world of pandora. The steelbook case design and art work is pretty sweet as well! Great movie to watch with the family.

No scratches beautiful case great for collections worth the buy for any fan of avatar

After buying the Avatar 4K Steelbook, it was a big let down to discover that they did not include all three versions of the film. Shame on them for doing this

I genuinely feel scammed. The collectors edition dropped the same day as this steelbook however this steelbook does not come with all the new cuts. There is nothing new from the first 4K release other than Dolby Vision and it being a "steal book". Id skip this and get the other, best buy doesn't seem to be selling the actual collectors edition. To be fair the movie looks great on an OLED, (LGC3 used for playback on x800m2) no different than Avatar 2 without DV. This just screams money grab by not including the new cuts of the movie knowing they were releasing both versions the same day.

Wish it had all the features that came with the collector's edition, and the artwork looks a little flat in my opinion. However, it's a nice 4k copy of the movie.

This made a billion dollars...if you havent seen it by now, you never will

love the series, really enjoy the visual beauty and creativity, story line, artistic concepts and affinity for your loved ones, society benefits, personal joy in good relationships. This is what makes life great and rich.

I have always loved this movie and glad to have it in 4K UHD format. I can’t wait to see all the it looks when I watch it.

Wish it included the alternate versions of the movie, but the steelbook arrived on time and in good condition, thanks to being in a box instead of bubble envelope :)

Finally on 4K! Looks and sounds fantastic. Get it in Steelbook before they are gone!

If you're a movie collector like I am, you'll want to add this steelbook movie to your collection.

Thank goodness best buy wont be carrying physical media anymore. I get WAY less spine slashes from other retailers. Best buy employees love to destroy steelbooks. Even when it's not them cause its under the plastic, they shouldn't be selling damged collectables ESPECIALLY WHEN CHARGING $45 FOR 1 STEELBOOK

We love the Avatar movies! To find this one in this format at such a great price was astounding. HAD.TO.BUY.IT!

Beautiful artwork, 4k transfer is well done, would recommend to any big fans of the movie series
