DVD was a great buy wanted it b/c Robin Williams was in it.

Great movie. Great acting. Bring a box of tissues.

Wonderful film from the 1990 based on a true story.

Actors did a really good job. Who doesn't love these two actors.

an encephalitis epidemic leaves the victims in a catatonic state in a facility. Robert DeNiro is a patient and Robin Williams is a new physician. Williams finds a drug which will allow them to be revived ... some for a long time and some very temporary. The struggle Williams has to overcome the politics behind doing something different is powerful...he learns to overcome some of his own withdrawn dynamics.

This is a sad movie but you'll learn to appreciate it Robin Williams is both exciting and sad to watch Robert De Niro puts out what I think is one of his best performance other than the Godfather two. It's based on a true story and It will makes you appreciate life by the end of it definitely recommend it it gets five stars for me and I'm not over selling it enjoy.

This is a great movie and a true story. We never know how much we are blessed until we see what others go through in life. There is always someone who is going through worse than we are. A good family movie. Great acting and some comedy. Everyone needs to see this movie.

As always promised by such outstanding actors as Robin Williams and Robert Deniro, this was a terrific movie. Wonderful story line filled with very believe able and interesting characters. Having this based on a true story, makes the telling all that much more interesting. Well worth adding to your collection of 5 star movies.

This movie is not terribly well known, but it’s definitely worth watching. Robin Williams plays a fairly serious role for him, yet quality nevertheless!! It’s a movie that will move you to tears because it’s all about being human, and how frustrating it would be to be trapped inside yourself. Need to cry? Highly recommend it!

I found this to be very engaging. My friend was right on target when he suggested I purchase this film. After watching once, I look forward to the next viewing. As with most movies the second time I watch I find things I missed.

If you have not seen this marvelous movie, starring Robin Williams and Robert DiNiro, do yourself a favor and but a copy. It is based on a true story, and you will watch it more than once. Highly recommended.

This is a very underrated film directed by Penny Marshal & starring Robin Williams & Robert Deniro. An all time favorite of mine.
