First of all, this is a lot of money for two brackets and two pads. These fit the speaker just as advertised, but there is also a necessary pad that is included for the bottom of the speaker. Something to note (and this may be obvious to some): The brackets hold the speaker about one inch away from the wall, which is necessary to allow the speaker cabinet to resonate and make the sound that you've paid for. However, these brackets only hold the speaker at the top edge, and these speakers are heavy (which is a good thing-it means there is strong reinforcement in the cabinet and big magnets). There is no way these can be held at the top edge and remain vertically upright. The speakers want to swing so their center of gravity is directly below the hanger, which will eventually torque the bracket screws out of the speaker-not good. Probably not going to be a problem for you but I wanted to suspend these above my work bench and had to rig up a support to contact the included pad so keep the speakers upright. A lot of words for a small point which probably nobody needs. And now I've even bored myself....

    Speaker mounting brackets

I ended up returning these and opting for speaker stands instead. Obviously these were made specifically for KEF speakers, but my only grip was the 'plain', for lack of a better word, the brackets are. If you aren't mounting your speakers in a large-ish room, in an interior wall at that, then these aren't going to be right for you. I bought KEF bookshelf speakers with the intent on mounting them in the corners of my room across from my bed, but since these brackets are flat, the speakers would sit flat, causing the sound to go over my head. KEF should think about making brackets that have a way to angle the speakers.

The Q150's have pre-drilled holes for these mounts behind the outer coating. The mounts come with a map that allow you to poke a hole through to the pre-drilled holes. Worked great and mounted on wall with no issues.

Decent brackets. Too bad the speaker it holds is garbage.
