This is one of the best anime I have ever seen. The plot is very interesting. The characters are phenomenal and the art is amazing. There is very little wrong with this show. What surprised me most about this show is how well the ENGLISH voice acting is done. I know that most of you are probably shaking your heads right now saying that there is no way that an English dub could ever be better than the Japanese, but this is probably the lone exception. The actors were really well picked and they matched their characters well. The best of them all were Isaac and Miriam. They are like two immortal bundles of concentrated chaos, but I digress. The plot was presented in a cool jumbled Point of View Time period thing. the best way I can describe it is if you could somehow mix the plot devices of Haruhi suzumiya and Vantage point together successfully, you'd end up with Baccano. Also, another note on the dubs. The characters and plot are based in America, circa 1930s. They probably did not have much trouble finding people to do the correct accent. Bottom line: If you buy this anime, and if you like anime AT ALL, you will fall in love and never turn back, dubs and all.

I loved Baccano! The story was great, The characters you can never forget, and how it was a double edge sword of at times fun an silly then immediatly to dark and disturbing. One thing I loved was how almost every episode revolves around a train robbery and you never wonder when they'll move on or become bored with it. I'd reccomend this to any anime fan anytime.

I've been waiting for this set to come out. Great.
