Arrived a day early but sadly rhis game is online only which i dont like. Had to wait for the games servers to go online on order for me to play. Once you get down to it, its got great cusomizations and random gameplay elements that help keep the game fresh. All enemies are unique and not your standard zombie experience. Characters are fun anf the card system is interesting. There is anover-arching storyline but you can play any map in any order if you want to. No offline and no couch coop is a big bummer for a game like this but Turtle rock has stated that they are working on those features to be released later.

Don't Go in Expecting Left 4 Dead 3

This game's downfall is that everywhere hyped it up as being essentially Left 4 Dead 3. The game might be a spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead, but it is nowhere near as good. Online co-op barely works sometimes. The game's story is mediocre and controls can be wonky. I had fun playing with friends but also found a lot of the game frustrating and it ruined the gameplay for all of us. The card system used to aid your gameplay is interesting, but quickly becomes boring.

This game had the ability to be great but got bogged down with questionable game design decisions like forcing a card system to beat certain levels, or even being forced to play online with others and not being to complete the missions solo. You really do need to have appropriate cards and teammates to pass many of the levels or else you're going to have a frustrating time, even on easy difficulty at times.

Got this game because I am a big L4D fan and people that worked on L4D worked on this as well but this game is a bit different and in my opinion not as straight forward and fun as L4D but it’s still good.

I had bought this game already for PS5 but since we all enjoyed it so much and play it so often the console is always being used. So I decided to buy it for my Xbox and now I have no problem of waiting. Also, it was on sale at a great price at Best Buy which made it even better.

No couch co-op really ruined this for me. Overall the game is not very good, and the only thing going for it is co-op. If you have friends that want to play with you online and its under $10 it can be a fun few nights of play. Otherwise don't waste your time.

Fun game. A great co-op FPS, although it falls flat in a couple places. The difficulty between easy and normal is crazy, easy feels normal and normal feels hard. And you cannot earn points to buy supply lines solo. You have to play with others to earn credits.

Left 4 Dead Made Way 2 Complicated

This is basically Left 4 Dead 3 and they kind of flubbed it. The gameplay is what you're used to but they ramped up the special zombies to the point where they... weren't special anymore which was disappointing. No flourish or weight to them appearing, and appear they do. Your guns also feel less effective somehow. The biggest problem is the hub and card system. Why did we need these? We didn't. It's complexity we didn't need or want. I don't want to build a deck for a FPS. Overall, it's not terrible but far from the glory of L4D 1 and 2.
