Loved this movie!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Backstreet has always been my all-time favorite movie and while the ending is tinged with sadness, I loved Susan Hayward and John Gavin's performances as the ill-fated lovers, Rae and Paul who still loved each other eventhough Paul was married to a woman he didn't love because of her cold unfeeling attitude but was a devoted Dad to his two children! It was a tearjerker, but a great movie: glad it was available on DVD!

Wonderful Movie

Susan Hayward, John Gavin, and Vera Miles create an exceptional cast in a beautiful and heart breaking story of true love and moral duty. This story will grip your heart and bring a smile to your face. Back Street is an immortal, haunting, romantic story, a treasure for all to enjoy and share.
