This is the ultimate Back to the Future all-in-one package. It contains the 3 BTTF movies plus the entire animated TV series. The box is of the flux capacitor, which lights up with the press of the button.

For the 30th anniversary of the original Back to the Future, Universal has released a new trilogy set on DVD or Blu-ray (both sporting a handful of new bonus features), a DVD set of the long-requested Back to the Future Animated Series, and this... a box set which includes all the movies and bonus features on Blu-ray plus the Animated Series in a Flux Capacitor box with a bonus 64-page book. If you are a fan of the films, this box set will probably tempt you with its attractive lenticular cover (with an inside-box switch which lights up the Flux Capacitor) and the "Complete" moniker. If you crave the new Christopher Lloyd short, the featurette on restoring the original Delorean AND the animated series, let's face it, you should be buying this. Thankfully, Best Buy had it for a great price not long after release. The 64-page book inside is something of a younger brother to the "Ultimate Visual History" book recently released. There is a great deal more material in the larger hardcover book, but some of the better items (and oddly enough, a few exclusive images) make an appearance here, making the most of the allotted space, rather than the usual over-designed and under-written booklets that come with some Blu-ray box sets.

"Back to the Future" day has come and gone and while we may not have hoverboards lucky fans of this movie trilogy can purchase this 40th anniversary complete adventures package which includes your own flux capacitor! The flux capacitor is actually a lenticular 3-D image which lights up via LEDs. Some reviewers have been disappointed at this implementation, however I think it is a reasonable design tradeoff to keep the package cost reasonable while delivering the movies, complete animated series, and BTTF 64 page book to make this truly a great set to display on your video shelf at home! There is no need to review the video/movie content as everyone is familiar with this classic and beloved movie trilogy. I am going to enjoy watching BTTF on Blu-ray now along with the animated series on DVD (released for the first time).

I love this. The packaging was very cool. Flux capacitor on the front cover lights up when you push a button on the corner of the box. Comes with a lot inside too. All 3 movies on blu-ray, the animated series from the early 90s on DVD, and a small book of behind the scenes info on the making of the trilogy. I already owned the trilogy on blu-ray when they released the 25th anniversary addition a few years ago, but as a huge fan I could not resist buying this new collection. I thought it was so cool that they included the animated series as part of this package. I haven't seen any of that show since I was a kid. I haven't had a chance to check out all of the special features yet, but so far I have no complaints.

The Back to the Future series is probably my favorite film series of all time, and as such I have found myself purchasing each iteration as it gets released on DVD and bluray. This set doesn't disappoint--great quality transfer, which isn't anything new, but loads of extras, including the entire animated series--which admittedly, isn't that great, but is still a neat piece of the series to have. Also, how can you not like the fancy flux capacitor box it comes in!?

I vaguely remember the animated series, but the films I'll never forget. Noiw I can watch them anytime I want. I own the Trilogy on DVD as well and wanted and waited to get the set on blu-ray. So glad I waited for this Anniversary set. I purchased this on sale for almost half of what it costs. If you can find it on sale, get it! Or if you cannot and you're a fan and want to relive a part of your past and show future generations get it!

Most everyone i know really loves Back to the Future 1, but i had forgotten how good 2 was. i dont remember loving it when i saw it at the theater but the family really enjoyed it after buying this box set. we still have to get to 3 - which is either hit or miss, but still good to see Marty and Doc's continuing adventure. i wasnt aware they made a cartoon series, which was a bonus. i'll pass that on to future grandchild.

I passed on the blu ray release from a few years ago. When i heard about this, I had no reason to hold off any longer. This is pretty much the original blu ray release with different artwork on the discs and new packaging. Also includes the cartoons and a cool little companion book. If you already have the blu rays, it comes down to whether you want the cartoons and book or if you want the updated packaging.

While the movie discs inside may be identical to the 25th anniversary set, this is still an amazing package to buy for a BTTF fan! The flux packaging is excellent, the excerpt of the book will make you want to buy the whole thing, and the new bonus disc is a nice watch. The packaging is also much better than the past release for the movies. Definitely a nice set for a BTTF fan.

While a bit on the pricey side, this box set is awesome. The movies, of course, are classics. The blu ray transfers look and sound very good. The new set includes all the bonus features from previous releases, plus some new stuff. It also includes the complete cartoon series, and a book. The outer box, the light-up flux capacitor, is awesome. My only real objection is the cardboard sleeve packaging. In general, cardboard sleeves are just asking for scratched discs. In my particular case, some glue from the construction of the packaging left residue inside the sleeve, which stuck to and damaged the discs. I'm sure this is probably an uncommon manufacturer error. I returned it to Best Buy with no issue, and the replacement set was in perfect shape.

I bought this mainly for the digital downloads, which I use both with Vudu and Apple. The code allows you to access the video using either service, which then lets you download to your PC or iOS device. So nice to be able to get legitimate copies of the movie on the devices that I wish. Packaging was nice for the discs.

This DVD set has it all. I was impressed with the quality of the three movies and the bonus features and booklet included. The original cartoon series is also included in this set which has been hard to come by until this release. If you are a Back to the Future fan, you should pick this set up, you won't regret it.

The new BTTF complete adventures collection is awesome. It's packed with features and it even includes the animated series from the early 90s. If you're a BTTF fan and you already picked up an early complete set this is worth the double-dip! The picture on the films are a bit soft but it's a pretty good transfer.

This is great for any fan. Packaging aside (which has a light up flux capacitor), you get (1) all 3 movies on bluray, (2) special features, (3) the complete animated series on dvd, and (4) the trilogy on digital copy. The cheapest way to get all of that content, as you can find it occasionally on sale for $50.

being a die hard bttf fan, of course this would be an amazing set. The movie discs themselves are identical to the ones released a few years ago on bluray as well; however, this has the flux capacitor packaging, additional documentary footage and for the first time ever - both seasons of the animated series!!

I love these movies and barely remember the animated series, However I do remember watching it every Saturday morning. And for the first time this collection has both. The only down side is that the animated series is only on DVD, but the movies are on Blu-ray. So good and bad, but still highly recommended.

This is a great set to have for a Back to the Future fan of any kind. The trilogy itself is of course amazing, you get the cartoon as well and best of all is that it comes in a box that looks a Flux Capacitor and even lights up! The box is so nice I even have it displayed on the book shelf!

I grew up in the eighties. So Back to the Future has always had a place in my heart. This is a great value for a complete collection. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with any amazing collectible like a figurine or hotwheel. But then again, neither do most movie collections.

If you're a big fan of these movies, this is a MUST have. It's never going to get more complete than this with the inclusion of the animated series. Picture and sound are impeccable and the special features really give you a great in-depth look at how all the films came to be.
