This controller for your phone is amazing! I oroginally had a Razer Kishi V1, and it felt weird. Something just didnt feel roght about it. This however is great! They’re both $100, but I would recommend this over that any day. They also make an “Xbox” version of this which is black and has traditional Xbox style buttons, but they both work with PS Remote Play and Game Pass flawlessly. There is a Backbone subscription service you have to subscribe too, but you can just cancel it immediately.

Good gaming controller. No issues with it and is actually a better deal then the more expensive alternative that does the same thing.

The best thing about Backbone is the convince of not having to lug around a huge handheld and being able to hop right on your favorite games via phone. The only drawback is if you have a subpar phone and connection, you’ll get subpar gameplay. Other than that this does exactly what it needs to for gaming on an iPhone for cloud games and native iPhone games.

Love it so far. My only concern was the lag some people mentioned in their reviews. But i played GTA 5 online and couple of other games and did not experience lag so i was happily surprised. Just a hassle to take off iPhone case every time. i have iphone 14 pro max and had to use the adapter to make it fit (it comes in the box).

The controller is great when it comes to quality is all plastic but rigid and the mechanisim to expand is also very nice the things I didnt like was the buttoms sound and feel is clicky is weird for those buttoms to sound like that or feel that way you get used to it but is weird not a fan. the analog sticks are limited to movement I understand they tried to make the controller very portable and small but wish they made them like a ps5 controller not like a nintendo swtich controller but those things I didnt like are not deal breakers to me. Before I forget also I wish the controller woul have more grip I struggle playing warzone with the controller sometimes have change the grip to hold the controller.

Hands down the greatest mobile controller! Very easy to setup. Works with whatever cloud streaming platforms you may be associated with. Works with a large variety of mobile games. A must for Vampire Survivors! =) Makes remote play a million times better! I fully recommend this product!

This Backbone is great. It works amazing for Playstation Remote Play and works for any controller-supported apps you have on your phone. Got this initially for the PS Remote Play but have found myself playing more games on my phone thanks to this handy controller. It's surpassed all expectations!

Great product for travelling and on the go gameplay. If you have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, it's a little tricky to fit into the controller but it's not that bad. Make sure your lightning port is clean as well. Mine had some dust in it and the connection was pretty bad but that's a problem with my phone and not the controller.

It’s a very intuitive device. I enjoy using the remote play option for my PlayStation. In addition to that, the Apple Arcade apps are much more comfortable to play. being able to use the Backbone by itself as a controller for my PC makes it the perfect accessory to bring for long trips or a quick gaming setup if you pay games on your laptop.

I loved the portability of it and thf fact that it can be used not only for play station games but also steam , xbox and mobile games. One thing to know for new users is that after you free trial month you have to subscribe yearly tho

I purchased this to try it out. I really didn't expect to like it but it's quickly become my go-to for gaming while traveling. It's lightweight and doesn't need batteries so I can just throw it into a carry-on and I'm good to go. Remote play on both Xbox and PlayStation works great!

Felt comfortable in your hands. Pretty easy to use. Only downfall was it didnt fit properly because of the lense protector over the camera lenses, even with the adapter they provided for the iphone 13 pro max.

Grat for remote play when traveling. I've always been hesitant with devices like this, but it feels really good on your hands while playing games like Spider-man on PS5 or Alan Wake on Xbox.

Good product, but it doesn't allow for use with a phone case. The fitting is too snug for a slim phone case to be used with it. You will have to remove your case to use, but it is a quality product aside from that.

Perfect as stocking stuffers! Bought my son one and he loved it so much that I purchased 2 more for my twin goddaughters and I must say….. it was a hit!

Impressive! Works well with the PS5. My kids say it helps them playing fortnite and roblox on their phone. They even played Spider-Man 2 from their phone while I was on the TV

I bought the backbone in order to make my (admittedly) very long Diablo Immortal mobile farming sessions more tolerable. What I discovered was that, while the controller feels premium and the buttons solid, my hands are too large and made using this more of an exhausting endeavor rather than a relaxing one. I ultimately returned this product as it didn’t meet my specific needs, but don’t be discouraged from giving it a try. If my hands were smaller I would have 100% kept it. The pros: premium materials and buttons, seamless iOS integration The cons: button presses are noisy and can be heard in quiet environments (such as when you’re laying in bed next to your significant other) which made this a dealbreaker in my case. Additionally, if you have large hands this may not be the one for you.

Works great for any games that use joysticks and buttons. Much better than using the on screen buttons. Trigger buttons are a bit small. I use it for remote play with PS5

My first impression is the controller is unique in it might let me play games on the go. But the first thing it asks is I sign up for yet another subscription. Not happy with that. It does come with a one year free offer, but wants my credit card. That aside, the controller can accommodate almost any iPhone. It comes with a rubber adapter. Nice and all, but I have to remove my otter box protective cover to fit it in as the power to the joystick comes from my phone. That's a problem everytime I go to use the device. I do like the pass through charging port on the bottom of the handle. Good for keeping the fun going and recharging the phone. Also on the other bottom edge is a headphone jack for private game play. Great when your in public and don't want to disturb others around you. The controls are responsive though the relative size of the paddles and buttons a bit small. Maybe not great for long sessions or those with larger hands. Everything is where one would expect it to be on the Backbone. You will need to download a few apps to get full use of the controller. And the subscription is something also required for console and PC connectivity.
