The game has great graphics but the control & camera needs work. The layout of the game is great much better then Madden. If the games controls & camera I hate to say it more like maddens it would get 5 stars. If you want to take time to get use to the game buy if not stick with Madden.

To Be Or Not To Be Madden,That's The Question

The animation tackles in Backbreaker are pretty unique.Players are solid and connect physically. But the camera needs work,it locks behind the player so you can't tell what's going on around you, which is pretty annoying even in replays. You can also create your own teams, logos and endzones, but you can't share them online.During every kickoff in the game they play P.O.D.'s "Hear Come The Boom" which gets really old, really fast.Since it's also an unlicensed game it has no color commentary which makes the game feel empty. They should have just release the game as a down loadable game instead of retail.Backbreaker could have been a nice game but it's held back because of a lot of problems,it doesn't know if it wants to be an arcade game or football sim of Madden.
