Jason Bateman plays a middle age man that attempts to win the national spelling bee by any means necessary. As the movie progresses the audience find his real motives for entering the bee.

Although I wouldn't really watch this with my kids, my husband and I found the movie hilarious. Jason Bateman always cracks me up with his unique comedic style. It's a fun film!

I highly recommend bad words. it is a funny movie about an older guy who through a loophole manages to enter a spelling bee targetted for 8'th graders. The dynamics were quite funny and well worth a couple of hours.

I found this movie very entertaining. Good directorial debut by Jason Bateman. I thought the kid was pretty awesome and did great. Also a big Kathryn Hahn fan.

I was pleasantly suprised by this movie. I love Jason Bateman, but I did not expect this movie to be as funny as it was. It is extremely funny. I loved it.

This movie is surprisingly funnier than one may think. It's very quick, witty and full of great lines. Props to Bateman for his directorial debut.

The movie was very funny well acted the children were just as funny as the star. the ending wasn't what I was expecting or even suspected, I was curious all through the movie wondering why he was entering the spelling bees

First thought was why no one thought off this sooner. Hilarious twist on an event as non-controversial as the Spelling Bee. Jason Bateman is great as the lead.

This movie had been on my must see list for a while I picked it up during one of Best Buys $4.99 sales recently. This movie made me laugh till I cried multiple times if you haven't seen it do it now!

Excellent movie with a lesson at the end. The young boy's talent and character was the perfect match for Bateman! I have made this one of my top 5 for watching after a bad day! Well done!

Jason Bateman delivers another stellar comedic performance. Not his best movie, but definitely worth the price for this blu ray.

This was a great movie about the spelling bee and you will just laugh through the whole movie. It is just so over the top with comedy, but what else would you expect from Bateman.

Haven't laughed like that at a comedy in a long time - yes, some of the language and dialog was a little 'politically Incorrect' but still funny and a good story line! Jason Bateman is awesome!!

Really liked the storyline of this move, very unique. I definitely laughed out loud, and I would recommend seeing. Maybe as a rental though.

Bad Words is not your typical spelling bee. It has a crazy twist and it is a fun ride to get there but be prepared for some tough language

I liked it but only gave it 4 out of 5 because you have to wait until closer to the end to find out why he is in spelling bee's with kids.

I loved this movie! Jason Bateman was phenomenal! Never thought a spelling bee movie would have me so thoroughly entertained, but it is about more than just spelling competitions.
