My wife and I are such big fans of Dwayne Johnson for numerous reasons beyond acting. His charisma and charm flow effortlessly through his character, "Spencer Strasmore" in the freshman year of this awesome new series, "Ballers". Playing a financial manager to football players, he goes above and beyond the call of duty to protect them from the pitfalls of fame & fortune. This series is definitely a touchdown in my book!

Ballers is a great season for ripping through in a single afternoon. It is very entertaining, features some great up-and-coming actors, and has a very compelling performance by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The most interesting thing is that Johnson is essentially playing himself (as he plays a former University of Miami football player who is a local legend in the area). Highly recommended!

The Rock is in his element as sports agent Spencer Strasmore who is trying to be as successful of the field as he was on. Dealing with players who do all the things that upset coaches and agents he did while playing leaves him bemused while he tries to keep everything together. This series is well worth watching for any sports fan.

The rock is an amazing actor and the cast is star studded with noticeable appearances of football stars and I love the fact they use logos and the likeness of actual football teams. It's worth adding to the collection, definitely a show I could watch multiple times.

If you are football fan, this is definitely a great tv show for you. With that said, this is definitely one of those shows that I would say that needs to understand that the "parental" rating is there for a reason.

This wish fulfillment show is the successor to Entourage. This time they tackle the world of the NFL. Lots of Drama and adventurers but with none of the pesky lasting consequences that would happen if this was a grittier more realistic series. This is a light and fun peek into the world of NFL players past and present. A definite must watch for any fans of Entourage.

I got this on Black Friday at an AMAZING price. Came quickly and when I had an issue with the broken Blu Ray case Best Buy quickly sent me a replacement. I haven't watched the show yet, but I would definitely buy again if I needed another copy.

Besides Game of Thrones, this series has also been a good series to watch if you subscribe to HBO. The season starts off with the relationships between football athletes and their managers and how their lives are handled everyday.

The first season shows a great look at athletes outside the field. The show produces an interesting look at what happens when they have money and when they lose it. Whether it's real, I don't know. But it's entertaining.

I purchased the Blu-ray set during the first week it was available. It was informative and educational to see what goes on when the players are off the field. The Rock is excellent in his role as usual. Great price and quality.

I wasn't sure I how I would feel about this show and Dwayne Johnson not doing some action but I was really impressed with his character and could actually see him doing this in real life. My wife and I were hooked after the first episode and binged watched it on a Sunday. This is definitely a good show and I can't wait to see what Season 2 has in store.

Like many great shows on HBO, Ballers will leave you wanting to watch more. Dwayne the rock Johnson does a great job playing his role as an agent and connecting with several football players throughout the series.

Ballers is a show about a retired football player trying to have a career that seems to fit him well. It is pretty amusing it will make you laugh. It isn't too deep plus each episode is only 30 mins long

Sports, drama, comedy, drugs, violence, and the glamour while having subtle intext of larger problems looming makes for one hellva of a show. I can't get enough of it. If you love entourage you will love Ballers!

The Rock is awesome in this show. It's a good show with a lot of comedy and also a lot of what goes in a professional's life. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good laugh and a good show to watch.

Great story line full of outrageous scenarios that could only be plausible in the larger than life world of sports figures. Much more fun to binge watch than waiting week by week for the new episode.

Was intrigued to see how well Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson would do in a TV series. He and a very well put together supporting cast make this must see TV for me on Sunday nights on HBO. This raw look at the life of an NFL agent has scenes that are very inappropriate for younger viewers so keep that in mind when you go to watch.

Picked this up with my husband a few weeks ago, banged watched it during a rainy weekend. I have to say it was not what I expected, but I love it. Great series can't wait for the next one.

Outside of The Tooth Fairy you really cant go wrong with The Rock. Great show that takes an Airless, First and Ten, and Entourage mix with a little Coach feel to the next level.

This is a great show and being its on season 3 and my mom doesn't have HBO I sent her season one to watch so she can enjoy it. She is a big Andy Garcia and The Rock fan.
