THE GOOD: - Bumper corners offer above average drop protection in a slim, sleek package. Plus, they provide a little extra something to grab on to. - Provides a generous lip around the screen and recesses the camera so the phone lays flat. - Unlike the Otterbox, the bottons on this care are easy to click and very tactile. - Easily accomodates a glass screen protector. THE BAD: - The hard, outer shell is slick. It slides in the pocket easy, but also slides out of your hand easy if you're not careful. - The rubber is too soft, collects lint, and molded thin in some areas. I wonder about the long term durability of this case. IN GENERAL: It's a little pricey for what it is. It's pretty comparable to the Otterbox Commuter, but lacks the included screen protector and port covers. If you're looking for a bumper on steroids, and don't mind buying your own screen protector, this is a good case for you. Lint will be an issue, although it seems like with use the rubber is smoothing and collecting less lint. Personally, I always like the idea of the fully enclosed cases (Otterbox Defender) until I actually have it on the phone. That style case tends to greatly change the interaction with the device. Swypes are sometimes not recognized, Touch ID is touchy, goofy port covers for some non-existent port dust issue. I settled on this because it's essentially a beefy bumper, and allows me to throw my own screen protector on there. If this won't protect it, my AppleCare policy will. While this case could definitely be improved, I am pretty happy with it and have yet to see anything that I'd be more interseted in. Good luck!

This case is built very well and protects my phone.

Just upgraded from iPhone 5S to iPhone 6 and needed a new case. First bought a Speck, which while a good case and didn't add much weight or bulk to the phone, was very slippery. I'm not one to walk around with my phone in my hand all day long -- when away from home it stays in my handbag unless I'm using it -- but found that I was dropping it rather often. I researched and found the Ballistic received excellent reviews and was on sale at Best Buy for a very reasonable price. I'm very happy with this purchase and will definately purchase again when needed. Cons: Does add a bit of weight and bulk to the phone; wish it came in red. Pros: On the flip side of the "Cons" - it gives the phone excellent protection due to the extra weight and bulk; because case is slightly thicker it's more comfortable to hold, and I've not dropped it even once; ports are easily accessible and I find no intererence with sound quality when talking on the phone; case was very easy to put on and take off; did not cause any problem when I installed my Tech Armour screen protector (not a glass one, though).

This was a great buy!! I am very pleased with the case. My phone has been dropped a few times on concrete and the case protected it. It's not too bulky and I love the colors. The corners and top and bottom are rubber and the sides are hard plastic. It fits well on my iPhone6 I have no problem using the on/off or volume buttons. Some cases get in the way of the charger, but not this one. I purchased it on sale for $29.99 online, and when I picked it up in the store it was only $19.99! I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends and family.

I'm a business exec and needed some protection for my iPhone 6. The two part case (rubber surround and metal sleeve) have excellent fit. All buttons and ports are easily accessible. Reasonably priced. I've been using this for a few months now and very limited scuffing on the metal case. This was a replacement for an "In case" protector that started to scuff the first week.

The case is very sturdy even though you don't think so at first. It has the lip around the screen to prevent it from damaging the screen if it is dropped face down. Very light, stylish looking and secure.

This is a great case of you are looking for solid protection and not interested in an Otter Box or LifeProof case. This replaced a Lifeproof case. I liked the Lifeproof case but it affects the microphone and sound quality. So far it has performed very well. I added a tempered glass screen over the phone and pairing that with this case leaves me with a reason solution for everyday use. The case does not provide waterproof protection so if that is a need look elsewhere. The case is well constructed and fits the iPhone 6 well. It is reasonable in size and not overtly bulky. It has handled three drops from less than 4 feet so far and performed as advertised. If you are considering cases you should take a few moments to consider this case.

I like how easy this case is to put on and take off compared to other protective cases. I've dropped my phone several times with it I and it seems to protect it very well, it looks nice too.

I can always get accident insurance for my phone, but there's no way I can get back the time it would take to bring it in and get it fixed or even get back all the apps I downloaded. So, I've invested in this protective case. I like the case because of it's snug fit and combination soft-and-hard shell. The soft corners and raised front edge would appear to absorb the impact of most drops, and the hard shell keeps it snug to the phone. Warning: I haven't personally tested it. Also, this case is not advertised to keep the phone safe from water.

Found this case on sale for my son's phone. Provides great protection overall with less bulk then the animal "brand name" everyone knows. Easy to put on, fits well around all buttons and ports. Paired it with a glass screen protector to give the new investment sound protection without breaking the bank.

It has the perfect fit. It has the perfect protection... perfect hand grip. I cant ask for anything better...

After looking at reviews for lots of cases and hearing issues about call volume quality, difficulty charging, microphone issues, etc. I came across the Ballistic cases. The reviews were all very good, favorable comments, and the case does not make the iPhone 6 bulky. It is not very thin in this case, but it is not very thick either. It is protected. The clerk at Best Buy said she bought it for her boyfriend and he had no problems despite repeated drops.

This case is awesome and fits perfectly on my new iPhone 6! I hope I don't drop it, but if I do I feel it will be well protected. Not heavy and bulky like some of the others I have seen. Very stylish as well.

I bought this case for it's masculine practicality. It bulks up your phone a bit and the rubber corners tend to catch on your clothing when you try to remove it from your pocket, but that's a small price to pay for the peace of mind that comes with not having to worry if it slips out of your hand. The phone is well-protected and looks great.

This cover has been great! No drops, but a couple of bumps and nothing to speak of regarding damage. It fits snug, but not hard to get the phone out of. I would highly recommend unless you are a outdoors kind of person, in the weather, then I would suggest something that protects the screen a bit better.
