We have been using this for a few weeks now almost 24/7. I will say it can’t really go vertical as much as I’d like, but for our needs it’s been great and reliable. We have done plate full after plate full of prints and have had NO problems. If you are going vertical over about 3-4 inches I’d recommend lots of brimming and supports. I wish they would have upgraded the camera, but that doesn’t affect my opinion on the prints etc. This has been such a great workhorse for our print farm!

The Bambu Lab A2L is a pretty awesome printer for the price. Is it a tool changer? NO. Does it produce excessive waste when printing multicolor prints? Yes. If you are looking to reduce waste with multi-color printing, look elsewhere. If you want a big format, reliable printer, with great capabilities for a small-ish price, this could be it! I have had some issues though... Issue 1: bed adhesion- I have had some large prints warp slightly. This is just the nature of an open bed printers where any sort of change in airflow can cause the print to warp slightly. Solution, precondition the bed, clean the build plate really well with soap and water, and apply some glue. Issue 2: print failures not caught by Ai spaghetti detection. It just does not work but I have caught many of these failures before it has been too late because I use an external camera to monitor prints. Issue 3: bed and toolhead rails require more maintenance than enclosed Core XY printers because they are exposed. I don't love it, but it is what it is. Issue 4: artifacting on tall prints. The dynamic vibration compensation works quite well, but it does not fully eliminate artifacting. I have had failures when printing with vase mode because of this. Regardless of these issues, my experience has been quite positive and I would recommend this printer to anyone who wants a large format printer for a fair price. I would steer folks away from the bundle with the AMS Lite. After living with this combo for 3-months, I ended up getting an AMS 2 Pro and it elevated the experience dramatically. BestBuy, make the A2L and Ams 2 Pro combo available or the A2L without the AMS lite available and add the AMS 2 Pro to you products.

ive had the a2l for a few weeks now running it as much as i can and i constantly get homing issues. either the bed doesnt home or the head decides its done for awhile. it also sound horrible when it fails homing almost like a grinding noise. i had high hopes for this one. i have a p1s and p2s and absolutely love them but i traded in my a1 combo on this and wish i didnt. i may of just got a lemon i will be bringing it back. ill still recommend this since i think its somethjng that can be fixed pretty easy.

Great tool meets all my needs and more - Got the A2L with Cutting Kit so it can do all the things the pen drawing is impressive. And it prints well and handles Best Buys Insignia PETG like a champ.

Absolutely love this printer and it has such a huge build volume for a bed slinger and for a fraction of the price of similar printer with the same build volume. Hurry and get yourself you won’t regret i promise

The thing people mis about big(er) printers is reliability. When you print bigger models if anything goes wrong your out a lot of filament and time. If you want a cheaper larger volume printer that is very reliable this the one to get.

Bought the printer to add to my X2d and the a2l is a absolute workhorse it has just over 1200 hours on it now and has not had a single issue since I put it together

The size and speed of this printer met my expectations but I didn't anticipate the fact that it produces less waste than a P1S!

Excellent machine, great value, very easy to use. Takes a little time to put together, but instructions and videos at BambuLab website make it easy to do.

This is my second Bambu Lab printer and I love it! I upgraded to a larger scale plate so I could print full-sized items without worrying about chopping up a print and having to reassemble it. I love having the AMS included and the lite version is fine since this is an open-style printer.

Bambu Lab A1 is a beast for the price — fast, quiet, and stupid‑easy to use. Auto‑calibration, smooth multi‑color printing with AMS Lite, and consistently clean results make it one of the best open‑frame hobby printers out there. If you want to spend your time printing instead of troubleshooting, the A1 delivers every single time.

Bambu is the Apple from the 3D printing world I will see if you're looking to do bigger and more interesting things for a little more you can upgrade to the a2l with a bigger print bed but still good if you know what you want

Lots of controversy surrounding Bambu on the internet. While many view 3D printing itself as a hobby, I say it is a tool for my other hobbies. I am empathetic toward the open source creators and teams who strive to create the best machines. However, they have not created the best machines that money can buy. Bambu absolutely has with the A2L. For its use-case, it is well engineered, heck, it is incredibly engineered. I say that as the former research and development print farm operator at vision miner, using the $15,000 IDEX 22 V4. If I were to print the same part out of PLA on the $15,000 IDEX 22 v4, it would come out much worse than the sub-$500 A2L. The same goes for -any- filament within the A2L's 300 degree temperature range that doesn't have a chamber requirement. If you need to print bigger parts, I can not recommend this printer enough.

From tees to leather wallet you can do a lot with this printer, but what I really love in this machine is the stressless printing, I had an AD5X before and every single time I was printing something I was around the printer or looking the camera on the app to see if anything was wrong, and mort of the time it was, I lost a lot filament with wrong prints, but with the A2L little problems like tangled filament the machine will pause and ask to fix the problem then it will start again. I love this machine!

I've really liked the Bambu Lab A2L so far. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it.

Our first 3D printer and it was easy to set up. Very happy with it and it has been great.
