Got this for the enclosure, AMS, and the Bambu reputation, but also the price compared to Prusa. I have enjoyed how well this prints, the quality, the ease of use. Just plug it in, do a little setup, and print within 30 mins. Parts are easily obtained from Bambu, and it works with other brands of filament. Have not needed to replace any parts except the hot end after 500 hours. The AMS is wonderful for color prints but also for interface layers between supports. It's not a perfect machine, and I have to watch it when starting a print or during the print, just to make sure nothing bad is going to happen. Only negative is sometimes it purges and won't dispose the material down the chute and it'll get flung onto the print bed. Doesn't happen often, but has happened enough that I wish there was a fix for that issue. I've included a dog model I designed and printed.

I recently purchased the Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer and am absolutely thrilled with its performance! From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell that it was designed with quality and user-friendliness in mind. One of the standout features of the P1S is its impressive speed. It can produce high-quality prints in significantly less time than other printers I've used. The print resolution is fantastic, with intricate details appearing beautifully every time. I’ve printed various models, and the consistency has been remarkable—no warping or layer misalignment! The setup was a breeze. The manual was straightforward and easy to follow, and I could get the printer up and running quickly. I also appreciate the intuitive interface; navigating the printer’s settings and options is straightforward, even for someone who isn’t tech-savvy. Another significant aspect is its build quality. The robust construction gives me confidence in its durability, and the sleek and modern design looks sleek and modern in my workspace. The enclosed build chamber helps with temperature stability and improves print quality. I highly recommend the Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, high-quality printing experience. It has exceeded my expectations and has quickly become a beloved addition to my printing arsenal!

This is our first 3D printer, and even though the Bambu P1S is definitely not a “beginner” machine, it has been unbelievably easy for us to learn. I bought it for my 10‑year‑old son for Christmas, and we’ve both been amazed at how quickly we were able to start printing. The AMS has been a game‑changer. Being able to print multicolor projects right from the Bambu Handy App has made the whole experience fun and creative, especially for my son. He loves choosing colors and watching his ideas come to life, and the printer handles everything smoothly without constant tinkering. Even as complete beginners, we’ve had great success with this setup. The P1S is fast, reliable, and incredibly polished — the kind of machine that makes you feel like you know what you’re doing even when you’re just starting out. It’s been an awesome introduction to 3D printing and an amazing gift to share with my son.

I picked up the Bambu Lab P1S on sale at Best Buy, and it ended up being one of the best purchases I’ve made for my 3D-printing setup. The speed, reliability, and print quality are outstanding — easily matching what I get from the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon. For the price I paid, it felt like an absolute bargain. The P1S is incredibly fast and consistent, with almost zero setup required. It handles everything I throw at it, from simple PLA to more demanding materials, and the enclosed chamber really helps keep prints stable. For day-to-day use, it performs just as well as higher-end printers. My Only Complaints The only downsides for me are small but worth mentioning: • The camera doesn’t show real video. Live View updates about every 3–4 seconds, so it’s more like a slideshow than an actual stream. • I prefer the screen and camera setup on the X1C. The interface and real-time video on the X1 Carbon feel more premium. Outside of those two things, this machine is fantastic. If you want high-end print quality without paying X1C prices, the P1S is absolutely worth it — especially if you can grab it on sale like I did.

I recently picked up the Bambu Lab P1S Combo from Best Buy, and I’m beyond impressed. The printer is a great straight out of the box. Setup was fast and simple—even as someone who’s not a 3D printing expert, I had it printing high-quality models in under an hour. The print speed is very fast without sacrificing quality. I’m consistently amazed at how clean and precise my prints come out. The AMS (Automatic Material System) is a huge upgrade for me too, saves so much time The build quality is great, the software is intuitive, and the auto-bed leveling makes calibration a breeze. Whether you’re printing practical parts or creative designs, this printer handles it all with ease. If you’re looking to step up your 3D printing game, the Bambu Lab P1S Combo is the best bang for your buck. Highly recommend. 5 stars all day.

Since this wasnt in stock, I picked up an X1C. That was a fantastic printer, but decided to buy the P1S to try it out once it was in stock. Ended up returning the X1C and keeping the P1S. Same preformance, for a cheaper price. This is as plug and play as you can get for a 3D printer. I was also considering a Creality machine and almost pulled the trigger on a K1C, thank god best buy started selling the Bambu Labs series. The AMS is seamless and only makes a slight noise when pulling in filament. As for the printer itself, it can be loud. Not outrageously, but I have it next to my desk setup and my microphone can sometimes pick it ip. Prints come out fantastic. Im looking to upgrade the hot end and extruder to allow dor carbon fiber filaments, essentially turning this into an X1C. The biggest flaws in my opinion are the camera and screen. The camera leaves much to be desired, especially since I had the short experience with the X1C’s 1080p camera. You’d be lucky to get 1-2 fps on the P1S’s camera - yes it is that bad. For simply checking on your prints remotely I would say it is serviceable. But if youre like me and would like to pull up the feed and watch the printer do its thing while at work, its not gonna happen. The screen id say is less egregious. If I didnt try out the X1C’s screen I dont think I would be complaining. Its not awful, just not as streamlined and intuitive as the screens on other models from Bambu. Youre basically going to control the printer with your phone. Im planning on buying the Panda Touch mod and call it a day. Overall this printer is wonderful and it is amazing that best buy is selling them. If you are looking for a future proof 3D printer I would definitely recommend this model. The simple aspect of sending a print and not worrying about it is life changing. No calibration, minimal issues. Only encountered one issue where my print randomly stopped mid way, which was very frustrating. It appears to be the SD card that comes with the printer is not the best quality and it failed. For some reason you need an SD card to print anything. After replacing it has been a wonderful workhorse.

I’ve only been 3D printing for a few months. The Bambu Labs P1S with AMS has completely exceeded my expectations. The setup took close to an hour. It’s incredibly easy to use even for someone still new to the hobby. The AMS system makes multi color printing simple. The prints have been consistently excellent. I’ve had zero issues with reliability so far this printer just works. If you're a hobbyist like me or even just starting out the P1S is a fantastic choice. Easily one of the best tech purchases I’ve made in a long time.

As my first 3d printer I was really excited to learn and printout fun things and I have to say this was the best product. If you want a great budget all in one 3d printer I say go for this one. It’s fairly easy to setup, the Bambi app is great. I also use my MacBook Air which takes some time to adjust if you want to personalize your items your crafting. I made my first costume on the 3d printer and I had the best experience ever. My only con is that I wish the printer was faster when it came to printing, you can always adjust the speed or slice the item but it still takes time. Also expect a slight increase in your energy bill.

I recently purchased the Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer, and I can confidently say it’s been a game-changer for my 3D printing projects! Right out of the box, the setup was a breeze—taking less than 30 minutes thanks to the clear instructions and intuitive design. The fully enclosed chamber with sleek plastic panels and a glass door not only looks professional but also ensures stable printing conditions, especially for materials like ABS that benefit from consistent temperatures. The print quality is nothing short of phenomenal. With its CoreXY motion system, the P1S delivers lightning-fast speeds (up to 500 mm/s) without compromising on precision. I printed a detailed Benchy in just 12 minutes on Ludicrous Mode, and the results were nearly indistinguishable from slower, standard-speed prints crisp, clean, and accurate. The automatic bed leveling is a lifesaver, consistently producing perfect first layers without any manual tweaking. The optional Automatic Material System (AMS) is a standout feature, allowing seamless multicolor printing with up to four filaments (and even 16 with additional units). Switching colors is effortless, and the Bambu Studio software makes it easy to “paint” models for vibrant, professional-looking results. While there’s some filament waste with multicolor prints, the quality more than justifies it for my projects. The P1S is also incredibly user-friendly. The Bambu Handy app lets me monitor prints remotely and even record timelapse videos, which is a fun bonus. The included PEI-coated magnetic build plate grips prints securely during printing but releases them easily once cooled. Plus, the activated carbon filter keeps odors at bay when printing with materials like ABS. P1S offers unmatched value for a printer with this level of speed, quality, and versatility. It’s perfect for hobbyists and small businesses alike. My only minor gripe is the small, monochromatic LCD screen, which feels a bit dated, but the app and software make it a non-issue. Overall, the Bambu Lab P1S has exceeded my expectations and is now my go-to printer for everything from prototypes to multicolor masterpieces. Highly recommended

I run a medium‑sized 3D‑printing farm, so this isn’t my first machine—but it is my first P1 S, and I’m thrilled with it. The setup was painless, the print quality was excellent, it was right out of the box, and the speed had already boosted my farm’s throughput. I grabbed the printer a few days before Bambu Lab’s price hike. It’s disappointing that they raised prices ahead of the new tariffs when competitors like Creality, Elegoo, and Anycubic have held steady even a month after the tariffs took effect. That move feels out of step with the rest of the market. Pricing aside, the P1 S itself is outstanding, so the five‑star rating stays.

Started with an Ender 3 and hated the constant failures, Then went to an Anycubic Kobra 2 pro which is a great printer for most but it struggled with the harder filament types (TPU, ABS, etc.). I love the P1S in comparison, I have had no print failures and the ability to make multi colored prints is a game changer. I have hundreds of hours on this machine already and every single print has turned out perfect. So far I have only used PLA and TPU but from how well it handled the TPU I would be surprised if it couldn't handle the other filament types just as easily. I highly recommend this printer to anyone.

I have experience using 3D printers because of my job and never did I think I would purchase one until we received a P1S at my work. I was impressed with the quality and ease of use compared to some Prusas I worked with. I decided to by my own and so happy I did! It's great Best Buy has them for sale now as I was nervous about getting it shipped directly from Bambu. Despite ordering and picking up in store, I noticed the handle to my door was cracked as it must have gotten damaged during shipping to the store. I didn't want to exchange or return the device as it works well so I got in touch with Bambu customer service and they mailed me a new door handle for free! Shoutout to Best Buy as I’m a Plus member and have 60 days to return/exchange or price match within that timeframe. The price went down and they honored the sale price! I would also like to say thank you to the sales associate who was so kind and careful in loading the printer in my car! The projects you can make with this machine are endless and I have become addicted to buying filament and gifting projects to people! I will say drying your filament is key to getting the best results. I look forward to making more prints with this easy to use and amazing machine!

Ive been printing for 2 years now, previouslyin an ender 3 and an elegoo neptune 4. The quality and ease of use on this machine blow those out of the water. You can print directly from the phone or on pc (more customizable print options) but everything is so easy. Great machine. In fact, i came back and bought a second one within 2 weeks. Multicolor is great too. Ive made so many keychains and christmas ornaments

I noticed that Best Buy had these in stock at the time so decided to pick one up and try it out. One of the main reasons I decided to purchase the P1S Combo was because of a lot of 3d multi-color model were created using the Bambu slicer and I was getting tired of wasting my time converting them to us on my other color printers. Easy to order just shipped to my home it arrived quicker then shipping it to the store and came in good shape. So then the setup.. well it went ok just followed the directions and had it up and running in no time. I was surprised right off the bat everything work perfect no messing around with settings, not even networking connections. Loaded AMS and first prints came out perfect. Been using this P1S Combo for a bit now and I have no complaints except that the light inside is not really that bright. As far as the camera as some have mentioned it don't bother me as I don't use it. Printers are never left on when no one is home. So I ended up liking a lot and went and ordered the New AMS 2 Pro and that works fine with it as well. I've have had many other 3d printers but I should have purchased one of these long ago

I had previously bought a Bambu A1 mini (no AMS) roughly a year ago. It was only recently that my buddy (who has been 3d printing for roughly a decade) said, "you need to just get it, it just works", which was great advice. It has been sooo much fun and unlike his previous experience of fighting his printers roughly half the time (and only being able to use them for the other half), this thing indeed just works. I hadn't planned on getting the P1S, but when Bambu started their Black Friday sale on 10/28, I saw that the price was $200 off. Was pretty commited to getting it, but when I saw that Best Buy had it for the same price and I would be ABLE TO PICK IT UP THAT AFTERNOON??!? YES PLEASE!! It took a few minutes to set up but nothing crazy. I thought I was doing it wrong, but it ends up I was trying to make it harder than it needed to be. With the AMS, you just stick the filament in the hole 2cm and it DOES THE REST FOR YOU! Seeing it do it's thing the first time, advancing and retracting the filament automatically was like... mind. blown. I really don't want to jinx it, but I have had almost 100% success. The build plate is seemingly SUPER sticky. So far I've printed PLA, PLA Silk, PETG, and most recently ASA. The P1S has yet to falter with anything I've thrown at it. While I was tempted to wait for the TBD released P2S, I am very happy that I didn't. I love this thing and can see many hours of happy creating with it!

The Bambu Lab P1S Combo completely exceeded my expectations. The setup was pretty straightforward (had somewhat of a difficult time getting it to pair- but could have been user error), and the auto-calibration and AMS system make multi-color printing feel effortless. I’ve printed a few spool rollers (and even had to tweak them a bit) and a few other items that I thought of in the moment, and sure enough was possible! The enclosed design keeps prints consistent, and it’s surprisingly not as loud as I anticipated, for such a powerful machine. I also love how Bambu Studio integrates seamlessly with the printer—it’s intuitive and packed with smart features like real-time monitoring and automatic filament switching. If you’re serious about 3D printing—whether for business, hobbies, or artistic projects—the P1S Combo is worth every penny. It’s reliable, efficient, and takes the frustration out of multi-material printing. I think I am ready for a second one! Highly recommend!

This is my first foray into the world of 3D printing, so take this review with a grain of salt. The device itself is easy enough to use. By hobby I build firearms and have 20+ years in the professional automotive soace. I am rather technically and mechanically inclined. Backstory complete, that leads me to my biggest gripe about the Bambu Labs P1S AMS: The setup instructions included are absolutely dismal. Not at all written for a person who's never set up one of these devices. And lacking lots of pertinent information. Very much written for and by an engineer, not with the end-user in mind. YouTube videos helped a lot. Once everything was situated and running, the machine itself is relatively straightforward and the Bambu Handi app is very simple to use. As I said, my first time with this technology, so I wasn't looking to spend a fortune, and I wanted the most user-friendly and widely supported device. The sale price with the AMS sealed the deal. Having zero interest for 18 months made buying from Best Buy a no-brainer. Overall a 9/10.
