The printer is ready to go in literally 10min once is out of the package. It does an excellent job in using the auxiliary nozzle to save filaments when changing colors. The printing quality is no different from anybof P1 series I owned, I am really impressed in how easy now is to print in ABS or ASA, no warping at all on long prints.

Bought this to really get into 3d printing, and it has been so easy to use. Beautiful machine, easy to use, the temperature control is a huge help, and I've got no complaints.

I’ve used several Bambu Lab printers, and the X2D feels like a very capable, polished machine. Setup was straightforward, the print quality has been excellent, and the speed is impressive without feeling like I’m sacrificing reliability. The enclosed design is a big plus for materials that benefit from a more controlled environment, and the overall build quality feels like the other Bambus. The AMS and dedicated nozzle for support materials is a plus too. Price is great. The only con that i can find is that if you are used to bigger build plates, this will feel smaller.

We have had the X2D for 3 solid weeks and other than a few hours here and there when someone isn't home to clean the plate, this machine hasn't stopped printing. There are learning curves but I work in tech so other than a few self inflicted problems, my experience has been flawless. I'm just now coming up to some of the maintenance processes and while not the best, as long as you have space around the machine and a spot to temporarily put your AMS, it is much easoer than I expected. Again, I work in tech on prototype hardware and software daily so your mileage and feelings on ease of use/maintenance may vary. It is pretty much plug and play for PLA after initial setup but I would still categorize this as an entry level enthusiast machine and should point out it is NOT intended to be an efficient multicolor printer. This device shines for the price point and support for more advanced filaments which require a fully enclosed heated chamber, not necessarily the ability to make intricate multi-color models without swimming in filament poop. The pictures show some of the features where the trash can was printed in 7 hours but in contrast, the Eagles Pen Holder took almost 10 hours on the X2D with almost 7 hours of changing filament every 2 minutes.

The printer is great as expected. My AMS is bad, the first and last slot have a hard time pulling in filament.

The print quality has been great, and I have not had any issues with any files or filaments so far. However, quality of the printer itself is a little suspect. Not long after opening it, I noticed that the rubber strip on the inner side of the door began peeling around the edges. Each time I try to press the edges back down, they will stay that way for a little while, but will eventually peel again. Also, when the bed moves up and down on the z-axis, I hear a faint but noticeable crackling noise and am unable to determine where it is coming from exactly. Next, sometimes after I remove spools from the AMS 2 pro, the printer will continue to display a message saying that filament is currently being inserted/removed. This disables some of the actions of the printer such as switching nozzles, and the only way to fix this is to completely power down the printer and turn it back on. The Bambu AI wasn't very helpful in figuring out why this keeps happening, but hopefully it's firmware, and not hardware-related. One last thing, and this is probably more of a nit-picky thing, is that the plastic surfaces of the AMS 2 pro are very prone to scratches even in the slightest circumstances, unlike the first AMS. If this printer wasn't sold out everywhere, I would have considered returning it for a new one and would still recommend it since it functions properly when it prints and it is unlikely I would encounter most of these problems on another one.

I currently have 49 hours on my Printer. I have an A1 MINI, (3) P2S's, a H2C, and this X2D. I bought this one so I can print some high temp material. I had the support material get clogged in the head and it slowed me down for a couple hours. I like the see through windows on the side. I wanted an H2D for under $1,000. What I got was not quite an H2D for under a grand. The dual extruders are a great idea but were clearly in the earliest stages of development for them. There’s bound to be some speed bumps and learning curve, and there definitely is. If you like to be an early adopter and try out new technologies this is a great way to get into it. If you want NOTHING but the reliability and ease Bambu has a reputation for, this maybe isn’t your choice.

This printer is absolutely incredible. One of the best printers I’ve ever had easy to use easy to fix if there’s ever an issue highly recommend.

Ordered this on launch day and got it a few days later. It works amazing. The only issues I’ve had were caused by myself l (needing to clean build plate). Easy to learn how to use.

Nice Edition to my Bambu Lab P1S. The X2D is well crafted. So far no issues printing. Plug and play machine. I can’t wait to push this printer to the limit with the dual nozzle!

I have had this printer for nearly a month now more that 100 hours of printing done, and it is an amazing machine. I have been able to do multi color prints and larger prints thanks to its multi nozzles and 256x256 build plate. I believe the only better printers from bambu would be the h series. I had no issues with my ams2 like some of the other reviews have stated. I believe they have fixed that issue from the last batch.

The first prints were great, but the plastic part behind the nozzle, which I think is for cutting the filament, was hanging down and messed up after just five prints. I called customer service, but they never got back to me, so I decided to return it and get a new one.

When I first looked into buying this printer I was unsure, as many people seemed to be complaining about it, coming from the refined P1S to a newer model I was worried if this would give me the issues people were talking about, but in all honesty this printer is fantastic. If you understand how 3D printers work and you understand that you have to make repairs just like anything else, this printer will serve you well. If you want something you barely have to touch outside of just proper care, this will be fantastic for you. If you want something you don't have to make repairs at all on, 3D printers probably aren't for you. Everything will break, some more than others but the X2D has about 400 hours on it so far, and I have to say its nothing short of amazing. Its well work the money.

source 3d printing community. Theres so many models online, I can almost always find what I need instead of making it from scratch. Def worth the money if your looking for a printer that just prints without all the headache.

I had bought this printer 2 weeks ago and had a great experience, then the right nozzle suddenly wouldn’t make it past the tool head. I tried everything and eventually just gave up on the printer. Replacements were still free at the time so we just did that. As of now I’m still waiting for the new printer. Would recommend this printer, it has more features with drawbacks but it’s not like they took anything away. I love it. If you buy it be prepared for disassembling the tool head for clogs, etc.

My first 3d printer since owning an ender 3 and not having much success printing anything with it. This is the difference between night and day. First print was amazing! Love the AMS 2 pro. Only had 1 jam due to brittle filament, but was very easy to clear. Love this printer! Worth every penny.

This is actually my second X2D printer. I was so impressed when I got my first one, that I knew I needed another one to help scale the work I plan to use these for. Having the second tool head allowing for a second color print without waste and less time having to swap filaments in the AMS, has definitely been a game changer for me. Also being about to use the second tool head to print support material ex: PETG support on PLA print or vice versa.. has also been a great bonus and where this printer really shines. The X2D having the "second nozzle", and "heated chamber" is more than worth the $100 upcharge to no move up from P2S.

Quality is amazing straight out the print. Was able to salve needs and as well make items I didint think where possible changed up everything.

Purchased this near the launch date and had several issues that affected print quality eventually had a return it. The two main issues I had were the belts causing Perfections in the z-axis bed making terrible noises. I've since returned to this in order another of the same model in hopes I just happen to get a bad one unluckily. If my new one doesn't have any issues I'll update my review, if it does have issues I'll lower my review even more
