So far so good. I haven't experienced any of the issues some others have. I been printing PETG / PLA no issues on main or aux nozzle. Id say like any other product, there will be some issues and the ones with issues will be reviewed with low stars. However in the groups this is a small minority of issues so dont be scared to try it out. Not to mention as a total tech member you have 2 years coverage so really no risk. Keep in mind, some of the "hate" comes from P2S owners who are salty because the X2D came out right after they bought their P2S which is also a solid machine.

This is a major upgrade from my previous 3-D printer, and it amazes me how precise my printer turning out to be. I had a little issue with the jamming, but was able to resolve that. There’s a lot of of SUPPORT for problem-solving how to use setting up the bamboo X2D. I’m fairly new at multicolor printing and getting used to using the two heads. I have found out that the second head does not print quite as good as the first head I would recommend having the most important part of the print done with the first head and using smaller parts if possible for the second head

This is a fantastic printer -but- I started receiving cooling chamber errors so I returned it within the window. I would give it 5 stars if it were not for that. Waiting for it to become available again to re-purchase.

First, I know some people had AMS problems, but I didn't. I thought I might have some problems with A1 position loading, but all problems went away after a firmware update. That could have been a coincidence. Regardless, my x2d has been rock solid. I mostly print PLA, some PETG, and have abou 100 hours of printing on the machine. I bought the warranty just in case.

This 3D printer is a great value based on the price and how easy it is to use. I graduated from a Creality 3D Machine to this one.

Prints great with absolutely no issues. Quality of prints is on par with my H2D.

I had it for a bit now and ran it pretty nonstop since. Zero problems and perfect prints each time! I highly recommend it!

Fantastic printer. My 2nd Bambu printer, other is a P2S. The printer is very good. I’d take it any day over the P2S. The extra ability of the 2nd extruder is very good. Maybe 95% the quality of the main one, which for supports and accent colors is more than fine. One thing to know the 2nd nozzle is slower but unless you’re in a print farm it doesn’t matter for home use. Overall pretty happy with it for the price.

Purchased this as my first printer and been non stop printing things from the bambu app. The app makes it easy to print things. Love the ams on this thinking of getting another combo so i can print more things at once.

This review is in light of what could have been from someone coming from the X1C. The loudest issue I see from people is the 2nd hotend, as its not direct drive, but instead bowden. Personally, this is not an issue for me, I bought it planning to use that for supports, and it has done VERY well in that regard! No, my biggest issue, is the artificial (and yes, it is artificial) hotend max temperature limitation that remains the same 300c the X1C has. They added a Chamber heater but didnt increase the Hotend temp... Every other aspect improved upon, but this one, unchanged. To make matters worse, when called out on it, they cite product segmentation, IE "just get an H series". Basic comprehension might be escaping some folks, so for those who do not understand: it is FASTER, CHEAPER and EASIER to heat up and KEEP heated a SMALLER chamber then a LARGER chamber. I have an H series already for printing LARGER parts that NEED the larger build volume, I wanted this smaller sized printer to print the SMALLER parts. While 350c would have been preferred, honestly, even 320c would have been better as a cap (and cover most of what would want to print with it). For anything not needing the higher temps (chamber or hotend), this thing is great, but overpriced in light of the P2S.

Seems to be a bad batch of AMS's with these. If you watch reviews online, and read community post it seems to be quite apparent there is a bad batch of AMS with the X2D, or there's a software issue between the two communicating.

I purchased a Bambu Lab X2D Combo 3D printer from Best Buy, a very expensive, high-end product that was delivered in mid-April. Within only a few weeks, the printer began having issues and is now not working properly. This is not an old product. This is not something I used for a year and then complained about. This is a basically brand-new printer that failed almost immediately. I contacted Bambu Lab first, and they directed me back to Best Buy for an exchange. When I contacted Best Buy, I was met with nothing but scripted responses, policy hiding, and a complete refusal to actually help. I explained the situation multiple times. I explained that the manufacturer had already sent me back to Best Buy. I explained that this was a high-value purchase and that the product failed almost immediately. None of it mattered. Best Buy’s answer was essentially, “Too bad, the return window passed.” That is absolutely unacceptable. This was not a case of buyer’s remorse. I was not trying to return something I no longer wanted. I was asking Best Buy to stand behind a defective, extremely expensive product that they sold me and that failed shortly after delivery. Instead of making it right, they pushed me back to the manufacturer, even after I told them the manufacturer had already pushed me back to Best Buy. The customer service experience was beyond disappointing. I asked for escalation, and I was told a supervisor would give me the same answer. I pushed again, finally got a supervisor, and still received the same empty, scripted response. No ownership. No real review. No meaningful attempt to help. Just repeated policy language from a company that apparently has no interest in supporting customers once the return window closes. For a company like Best Buy, this is embarrassing. They sell expensive electronics, printers, computers, appliances, and other high-dollar products, but when one of those products fails almost immediately, they hide behind fine print and leave the customer stuck. I bought from Best Buy because I thought they were a reliable retailer. After this experience, I regret that decision. If Best Buy is not willing to stand behind a product that fails within weeks, then there is no reason to trust them with major purchases. I would strongly warn anyone considering buying an expensive item from Best Buy: once they have your money and the return window passes, you may be completely on your own, even if the product is practically brand new and already defective. This experience has completely changed how I view Best Buy. I will think very carefully before ever making another major purchase from them again.

This printer has not let me down yet. I have yet too have a failed print. The 2 nozzles are a bonus that pushes it past the p2s model.

Good printer. Got lucky with the AMS 2 Pro since I've yet to have issues but time will tell.
