It's a great movie about the war an how it really was.

Tom Hanks did a brilliant job. Great for Am any history our military buff.

Two great HBO miniseries in one clean organized package

Ordered These DVD's for My 90 year-old Parents to watch during Corona out brake. Had the DVD's delivered to their home. When my Dad open the box all the boxes were empty.

The Pacific series by itself I would rate it 3-4 stars. Very good movie and cinematography. The Band of Brothers is my all-time favorite war movie or series. It follows Easy company, 2nd battalion, 506th Parachute regiment of the 101st Airbourne Division. From basic training and jumping into Normandy to the end of the war including taking Eagle's Nest(Hitler's prized getaway). It includes interviews from some of the men portryed in the movie which will touch your heart. Both are wonderful and will show you how strong and willful people can be, and how strong of unity and love for one another these men had for each other. Plus can you go wrong having Steven Spielberg and Tom hank as Executive Producers.

It is a great storie of some of the men who fought in WWII from their start at boot camp all the way to the end of the war. It is a real eye opener to what they endured through the many battles and hardships. Very graphic violence. If you like Saving Private Ryan, you will also like these 2 mini series.

I saw most of both series on HBO. This will be the perfect Christmas present for my dad.

If you're a fan of either series or just a WWII flick/show fan, this is a must to have in your library.
