Customers are impressed with the Beoplay Portal's sound quality and comfort, frequently citing its lightweight design. However, negative feedback centers on the high price point, inconsistent battery life, and occasional connectivity issues. Some users also noted that the volume could be improved and that the bass response might not satisfy all listeners. The active noise cancellation feature received mixed reviews, with some finding it effective while others felt it could be better.

Sound is ok at best. Sound is comparable to a cheap beginner headphone. Has some static at times.
WAYYYYYY overpriced. Much better options out there. Bang & Olufsen struck out on these headphones. There's a reason these are on clearance now. Only positive is very comfortable and light.

Great Headset That Needs A Case

These are a solid high end gaming headset that does more than just gaming. The price isn’t for everyone but you have other models at other prices to choose from. This item is for audiophiles that want very distinctive sound and clarity, which I feel these headphones does achieve. I do feel that the ANC and Transparency mode are just ok and good enough. The virtual boom mic is great. Setup wasn’t a problem for me and the mobile app can use some improvements. For the price I’m disappointed that it doesn’t come with at least a sleeve to place them in when not in use.

They sound great mic is able to pic up my voice clearly even at a whisper. The Bass is not as punchy as some other gaming headsets I've owned like the A50s but I prefer the cleaner sound from these. They are the most comfortable headsets you can find and you almost forget you have them on.

Have had these for almost a year now, and I really like them. I previously had Astro A50s, which would constantly cause my Xbox controller to disconnect mid game. That was a big issue for me, so I decided to give these a shot. Thus far, I've encountered a few controller disconnects - but they are few and far between, whereas with the Astros it was a couple of times a night. Something with the wireless in headsets causes this at my house, but this version is definitely better.
Sound quality is good, but on the Xbox setting they could stand to get a tad bit louder. At this point my ears are used to it, so it's plenty loud for me - but when first transitioning from the A50s it seemed to be lacking a punch. Glass breaking in Warzone sounds unbelievably good, and can hear footsteps clearly and directionally.
Build quality is exceptional, noise cancelling is OK but have definitely heard better in Bose 700 etc. Have not heard better in a gaming headset, however..
Just one minor area they could improve: Every time I turn them on, they are in bluetooth mode. I never use these in Bluetooth as they are primarily used as my Xbox headset. Wish it would remember this and connect to the Xbox each time I turn them on. On the same theme - each time I turn to xbox, I have to adjust the volume etc - it does not remember that either.
Overall, I recommend them - especially when on sale. The full price is steep and there is likely a better value out there.

Great sound quality and makes a good pair if headphones but that’t it. Constantly fighting it to stay connected to pc. The mic quality is bad. Battery dies fast. I would not use them for gaming.

A great all around headset. Great ANC for traveling and gaming. Dolby Atmos is included in the package. Virtual mic picks up up pretty well. Mic is able to pick up faint speech as well. Super lite and comfy. Don’t like that I can’t listen to music/podcast while gaming. It’s one channel only.

Good as an all around headset for movies, music and gaming. This one really shines with music and the various EQ settings within the associated application. Although, I admit there are better less expensive options for gaming specifically and even at the loudest settings I find this headset to be much quieter than previous ones I've had.

Comfort, design, and build quality.
You won't get tired of listening to these headphones or using them for long listening sessions. Lambskin ear pads are VERY comfortable and did not overheat.
As for the sound, the house Beoplay sound is exceptional. Great trebles and miss, and a nice and deep bass extension that is not overdone. It presents a rich and full sound signature, especially when using the Beoplay App for bass boost.
Noise cancellation is excellent.
Microphone works well also, and it is completely integrated!
Bluetooth pairing was excellent, no issues pairing with my X Box or my iPhone. Atmos sound was also incredibly good!
Overall, these are amazing headphones from a quality Manufacturer that offers a 2 year warranty.
It's a headphone that any gamer or audiophile will be VERY happy with!

Great headset very comfortable for long play periods, great battery life, excellent build quality. The only downside being that the sound quality(while phenomenal) does not match the price point. The 40 mm drivers could’ve been bigger in my opinion also. Another issues is that Bluetooth and Xbox sound can’t be simultaneous which my cheaper turtle beaches can do. Overall great headset.

Got this on clearance for like $150. Worth it at that price but not at $500. Good ANC and transparency but the one drawback is that you cant access Bluetooth and gaming at the same time unlike Nova Pro’s.

Great Dolby Atmos Headset for PC

Great sounding Wireless Dolby Atmos Headset, I'm using the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 which is sold separately for $25.
Pairing it is very easy and I can switch between my PC & iPhone in the B&O app with one click. Dolby Access App on my PC recognized the headset right away and I was good to go. The touch controls on the headset are also simple and easy to use.
The sounds quality is what you would expect from B&O. I also tested the mic in a Discord call and it seemed to work great.
I don't have a new Xbox yet but am excited that this headset will easily pair with those devices when I am able to get one.

Dope Expensive Headphones

These headphones sound good and connect to your Xbox Series X without hesitation. Are they expensive, yes. You could buy another Xbox Series X for the price of these headphones. I bought them because I wanted a wireless option for my Xbox that would help drown out the noise of children around me. These headphones have delivered on my needs for the most part. The soundstage isn't a wide as I prefer, but software helps with this. I haven't tried them with a shooter yet, but they make Assassins Creed Valhalla sound pretty good.
Ultimately, If you're looking for a headphone that you can hook up to your Xbox wirelessly without dongles and a headphone you can with your cell phone, iPhones mostly, then these headphones might be for you. If $500 is a bit much for you, look elsewhere. These would definitely be a no-brainer at $300. Since they are a new piece of tech and Microsofts own wireless headset is sold out everywhere, these are naturally going to cost a pretty penny. Not to mention, you're paying for the NAME as well.
I know I want them. They work well and they sound good. You get a hiccup here and there, but all technology isn't perfect. I just don't know if I want to keep them now, or if I want to return them and wait until they go on sale for a more reasonable price.

These are amazing piece of headphones, and they really have great sound once you're able to customize it on the B&O app and the Dolby Access app on your Xbox or PC.
ANC is not the best compared to others out there. Airpods Max, Sony 1000MX4, Bose 700 and even Airpods Pro have better noise cancelling than this.
It lacks features that I find useful in other headsets like play next/ back, voice control.
What's stupid is that it comes with an AUX cable, but it doesn't really save you batteries since you need the headphones open to be able to use it.
Comparing this to the Xbox Wireless Headset, it definitely has better sound, but the the XWH's features is far better (multi-connection between Xbox and phone, better volume control)
