Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Beoplay Portal's sound quality and comfort, frequently citing its lightweight design. However, negative feedback centers on the high price point, inconsistent battery life, and occasional connectivity issues. Some users also noted that the volume could be improved and that the bass response might not satisfy all listeners. The active noise cancellation feature received mixed reviews, with some finding it effective while others felt it could be better.

Easy to setup and sound great. Out of the box and connected to my phone and xbox within 8 minutes. And with Dolby Atmos, they sound great.

These are the pinnacle for gaming headsets. Once you use these nothing can compare. I recommend these highly for gaming to travel to home theater there is no comparison.

Not worth it for 500$/COMPARISON REVIEW

I’ve tried multiple gaming headsets and headphones for gaming and thought these for 500$ would blow them out the water or at least beat them in sound quality for sure. Or bring the dolby atmos experience to a new level. But boy was i wrong the stealth 700 gen 2 sound much better all around for only 150$, when it comes to sound quality- very crisp highs and nice bumpy lows. The Audeze Penrose which is considered an “audiophile gaming headset” blows these out of the water as well when it comes to sound quality and there only 300$. The astro a50 honestly sound the same if not slightly better through the optical audio port. But the astro’s have way more features you can play with. The sony wh1000xm4 and Skullcandy crusher evo(which are my favorite). Are much better as well overall and can be used on xbox. Ive had many more headsets but all the ones I’ve named are way cheaper and better in my opinion. Spending 500$ for these makes no sense if your a true gamer looking for a headset to get the edge on your opponent. Sound QUALITY I couldn’t hear any type of clarity in my gameplay sound was flat and gun shots sounded muffled. Didn’t get as loud as i liked. Anc was meh nothing special, my air pods pro blows these out the water when comparing anc. Summary Not an upgrade if your looking to upgrade. They don’t feel as high quality as I thought for 500$. Plus the unboxing experience looks cheap. And you get no case for the headset only two accessories. You can get a much better gaming audio setup for 500$. Hope i helped anyone who was curious about these. These would honestly be good if they were price at 250$ or below. By the way the app worked fine for me just restart the app if its not connecting to the headset but app worked ok and was able to adjust settings.

I can see the potential of these being great. The music sounds awesome and gaming does as well. However when using Xbox mode wirelessly there is a static that breaks the immersion and it leaves these headphones feeing cheap and useless. I hope they make a software update soon or I will return and get something different. Also B&O should of provided a case.

So far so good with this headset. Amazing for listening to music, great for day to day use (zoom calls, videochat) but just average for gaming. Great technology but to get the most out of it like Dolby Atmos, you will need a 25$ dongle.

Bought these to take the place of my gaming headset AND my headphones that I wear when traveling, etc. From a sound quality, these are solid. Best ever? No way, but solid nonetheless. The biggest issue is connecting these things to a PC. I bought them because they specifically marketed them as being compatible with the XBOX Wireless Adapter. Which they are, BUT the quality drops off significantly. First, you can't use Dolby Atmos while using the Wireless Adapater. The sound cuts in/out and even if you switch to Microsoft Sonic it still sounds horrible. I plug in my Astros and everything works flawlessly. This issue is 100% on Microsoft. There are numerous posts online about the same issue using different headsets. It also doesn't matter if you have the new wireless adapter or the old one. Same results. If your plan is to just use these for use with an XBOX you'll probably be fine, but until MS updates the drivers and/or the adapter, you'll almost certainly be disappointed with the PC performance.

I cant even describe how great these sound. However id you want to talk to friends good luck!!! This mic is so awful you cant even hear the great sound because all your friend will be yelling at you for having such an awful mic. I contacted the manufacturer and all they said is to reset it and good luck. Hey B and O if you read this please take note that sometimes performance is more important than style, a boom mic or a real mic on these and you would have made the absolutely perfect headset. I paid half of retail for these and they are still going back. Total GARBAGE for gamers that want to talk
