This is the Rated R version with the alternative footage which isn't a big deal. Just shows the girls dancing for a brief second and that's it. But this is not the Unrated Version if anything is thinking this is it. Overall, very nice transfer, looks great. Can't complain for the price. Pam was such an amazing babe back in the 80s and 90s.

Based on the Marvel Comics character, Pamela Anderson in 1996's Barb Wire, did justice to the dystopian heroine. Though it wasn't a great Box-Office seller, the movie found its legs in the underground cult scene. Pamela Anderson played the moody, take-no-crap protagonist masterfully. The movie has a good pace, plenty of action--with very few slow moments. The story is not all that original, but the presence of the bomb-shell, Pamela Anderson, makes it all worth while. My only complaint is they never made any sequels. I've owned Barb Wire previously on DVD. I had to purchase the Blu-Ray edition, to showcase on my Xbox One S. Package includes the Blu-Ray movie only.

Yet another example of what happens when a studio tries to adapt a comic to a movie and fails at it. This is one of those movies that not only did it flop, but it only tried too much to appeal to fans of Pamela Anderson and made it mainly about the actress than the story, kind of like Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie. It's not the worst movie ever, it's entertaining, but having to sit through anything with Pam Anderson and watch her attempt to act and be tough really gets boring.

Great movie. A must have for your collection. Very good story line.
