Cute, affordable blind bag toy w/several surprises

There are many more choices to pick from now than when I was a kid and this Barbie Color Reveal pet was a fun reminder of some of the enhancements that can be incorporated in to the "simple" toy as well. The bag is fairly opaque and inside was a bright, glittered, Barbie pink, diamond shaped plastic box with the "pet inside". Ours was a purple poodle with a pink colar/ purple leash set and a blue ring stand. The mystery has another layer when the pet is held under water to reveal it's true colour. I read some reviews where people said it was a messy process so we decided to complete it over the sink. We filled plastic diamond box with water and closed the pet inside and shook it rather vigorously. Some of the purple was removed but holding it under running water and using an old toothbrush is a much more effective process. In the photo you can see the beginning purple pup compared to our newly guilded but still a poodle Barbie et ring!

Oh! the suspense and excitement on their faces are priceless. Since it is the second one we are experimenting with, we do predictions: what case are we going to get, how many packets are inside and what are inside the packets. The kids love looking back at the prediction chart after everything is revealed. The kids took turns swirling it around, opening the packages, counting the items , and vote on names for our new pets. The smiles and enthusiasm makes for a great day.
