    I thought it was really cool that the tail lights up and you could activate the lights 2 ways. 1 squeeze the skirt part by her waist or 2 dip the doll in water. Well after my daughter dipped the doll in water the lights wouldn't shut off. I had to take the batteries out in order for the lights to stop. Even though the doll is completely dried off the lights will continue to flash until you either pull the batteries out or let them run out of energy.

    When I first got it, I questioned how well it was going to work out considering it's a light up toy that you put into water. There are open creases where the mermaid bends that leads right into wiring. Of course after a few times in the bathtub, it all of a sudden would not cut off until it died. Unfortunate because my child loved it.

    Lights didn’t work when we got it. Exchanged it for a new one and lights stopped working again in less than 3 days .
