Best Police Comedy show ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me admit right now, I'm incredibly biased here...living in NYC during the show's run made some of these story lines more familiar/funny. Tourists, street characters, criminals, even a fiscal crises and a possible police strike. All played for laughs but with serious moments to add some gravity to it all. The main ensemble worked very well together and the peripheral cast and guests didn't kill the buzz, either. The writing was, in a word, excellent. Living in NYC during the '70s was rough but this show, at least, helped you get through most of it with a smile. Watching this show with my dad was a fond memory for me.
