Great scope for basic birdwatching and star gazing

Many of them were not positive but there were enough decent reviews to convince me to give this scope a try. Well, I will be sending this one back because it is absolutely terrible to look through. Trying to focus this scope is a nightmare and the glass is garbage. The few minutes I tried to get this scope lined out I started to develop a headache. Like many of you I tried to keep expenses down. But just like rifle scopes, you have to pay dearly for quality. Do as I will do, keep saving your money for a better scope.

Very poor image on highest setting

Good Quality at Low Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In just a general test of this scope, I was reading business signs over a 1/2 mile away perfectly clear. The front focus doesn't bother me. I am mainly just looking for something that can see my target at the range @ 300yrds and this will do the job. It is not the greatest scope, never expected it to be for $120. But it will do the job that I wanted it for. Now, the front lens cap is cheap rubber and doesn't stay on. Don't waste your time with the tripod. If you want a table top tripod, go and spend the extra $30.
