I have had a standard 10x zoom pair of Jason Binoculars for years. I purchased this in hopes of enjoying a greater zoom used over longer distance. I in no way got that in this purchase. These binoculars are hugely sub-par.. First, the higher ends of the zoom are almost absurd as the viewing area becomes smaller the more you zoom - I couldn't even tell you the quality of the image at this magnification as it's literally too tiny to look at. At the lowest zoom you can see the area being viewed but the clarity is very poor, even after spending time attempting to adjust the focus. It doesn't begin to compare in brilliance and clarity to my standard Jason 10x magnification set. Anyone writing a good review of these. I can only imagine must have never looked though a pair of binoculars before and therefore would have nothing to compare them to. These binoculars are simply a huge waste of your money so please don't bother purchasing them. In fact, I don't even think I could give these away and will likely toss them out. I'm surprised Best Buy does not do a better job of reviewing a produtct before putting it up for sale through their company... .
