    We got these binoculars for what would be a long day of whale watching. They are lighter than I thought they would feel, and caused minimal arm fatigue. The magnification was excellent. Good ergonomics make them easy to focus and use. I was unable to use my tripod with the tripod adapter on these binoculars, though, as the adapter points forward, on the front of the binoculars. My tripod didn't fit here, which was a bummer.

    The fog proof feature is incredibly important. I have been the mountains with others that had their $2000 binoculars fogging up, but not mine!
