Great movie! If you're a fan of Coen Brothers (The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, Fargo, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs) you won't be disappointed.

I had seen this movie before. I often watch movies more than once. This is a great movie and is well worth buying. Highly recommended!

Had this one on VHS from years ago. Knowing VHS is a dying media, had to grab this one out of the bin at a cheap price.

Wasn't familiar with this one but recognized the author. Glad I picked it up.

recommended to people who enjoy light comedy. worth a watch

Joel and Ethan Coen's BARTON FINK goes something like this. In 1941, NYC based playwright Barton Fink is lured to Hollywood to write (of all things), a movie for Wallace Beery to play a wrestler. Struggling and floundering with writer's block, he befriends fellow hotel guest John Goodman. A jovial man who is much more than he seems. John Turturro's edgy, often 'fraidy cat performance is fun to watch, Goodman has one of his best roles ever and Michael Lerner's movie studio boss is off the wall funny and well worth his Academy Award nomination. Not for all tastes, but a must for Coen devotees.

If you are a fan of Coen Brothers movies, then you may want to consider adding this one to your collection.

This was the first Coen brothers movie I ever saw, many years ago. So, glad to own a copy of my own.

Very good movie. We love John Goodman. He dies a great job.
