Marvin and Elijah installed my sound bar and connected my tv perfectly. They positioned the bar to make the sound fuller, they also made the wiring virtually disappear. Excellent job, very knowleageable and extremely professional. They are an asset to the geek squad.

I received my Yamaha 7.2 channel receiver just after the first of the year. The Geek Squad didn’t really satisfy me, but based on my less than sterling review, Geek management on their initiative contacted me and offered to solve the problems. Yesterday another team came out and did a great job. Now my system sounds just like what I expected, and the features I wanted all work. Best Buy’s cares about customers. They make things right.

The Agent Chris came back to my home and reinstalled the wiring after the cable company changed his original set-up. My new Soundbar had been turning on automatically at 3 AM. He was courteous and efficient and saved the day...or I should say my sleepless nights! The several contacts I had with all the Best Buy staff from purchase, to scheduling, through the final reinstallation was phenomenal. They really do care that the customer is satisfied.

TV, SOUNDBAR AND HEAD PHONES DELIVERED AND SET UP AS EXPECTED. NO INSTRUCTIONS OR MANUALS. WE REQUESTED WARRANTY INFORMATION WHICH WAS LATER EMAILED TO US.

The sound bar setup was excellent but the mounting of the sound bar could have been better. It was mounted with the wrong anchors for the surface where it was being mount. Had the correct size bolts/screws and anchors been used, the mounting would have gone a lot smoother and a bit more neatly than what it was. It’s mounted and it works well but the mounting could have been better and done a bit more neatly. For some reason, the installers were not aware that the sound bar was to be mounted on the wall.

The Geek Squad installed my set, and I am delighted with their work. They arrived on time (first calling me to say they're on the way), put on shoe covers to protect my carpets, and did a fine, thorough job of installing my many components. They were courteous and really know their business. Since it was a flat rate, I didn't have any price surprises when they finished. I hired a free-lancer with my previous TV installation, and it cost twice as much because of unexpected problems.

I had purchased a Samsung sound system and set it up. Googled settings and for some reason sound was only coming through the front sound bar - rear speakers just wouldn't activate. Called Samsung who decided system was defective and return. Best Buy sent their agent who went through my settings, showed me a YouTube test, and finally was able to determine the cause of problem that had to do with the Samsung settings. Agent was patient, informative, thorough, plus fixed the sound issue!

Can't compare this soundbar to others, as it's the only one we have ever purchased. Handshakes nicely with the LG C1 OLED TV - no need to use the separate soundbar remote - and fits perfectly and unobtrusively in a cabinet that houses the TV. Spouse says it makes British accents (hint, Masterpiece) easier to understand ... so this is a win!

We're glad we had Geek squad come do all the installation of our audio equipment (record player, receiver, speakers and subwoofer(. Having the 24/7 Tech support membership discounts our installation cost and makes the experience even more worth the value of the service. The two guys who came and I wish I can remember their names were a great team. Covid protocols were followed as well. Highly recommend!

As stated in the review of the Samsung 4K UHDTV, I had the Geek Squad come and hook the TV up. I added the Soundbar hook up as well, because the Polk bar was a good one, but an older model. I figured that there might be some unique settings to make them work together -- and there were. The Squad figured it out in short measure and had it all working amazingly quick -- I think. Normally, I would have tackled this all on my own, but was feeling a little lazy and self-indulgent. Am glad that I did.

The soundbar wouldn't connect to TV by HDMI arc.
Nicklaus found the problem. A chromecast connected to the TV wouldn't let the soundbar connect by HDMI arc. Thanks to Nicklaus for solving the problem by disconnecting the chromecast. Now we get great sound.
