It's not as good as the original but entertaining for what it's worth. Blu-ray quality is good for both audio and video.

If you liked the first movie then you will like the second one as well because they have some similarities. Its a psychological bender that is still fun to watch even though it has been a long gap between years since the first film was released. Micheal Douglas has been replaced with David Morrissey. Morrissey unknown to me before this film does alright but the best thing about this movie is watching how Sharon Stone messes with his mind. Sharon Stone carries the movie and delivers a solid performance. If you like Sharon Stone (I do) then you will probably like this movie. She really gets under your skin while showing some of hers.

Basic Instinct 2” is far better than it has any right to be. Director Michael Caton-Jones does what he can to make the movie look classy, though I don’t know if it’s a good idea for an erotic thriller to spend more time in offices than bedrooms.

I felt like the sequel was terribly underrated. Only thing I hated about it was Michael Douglas wasn’t in it but was mentioned briefly and her hair cut to me made me cringe. But overall great sequel, sadly they didn’t make a third film.

Nice follow up to the first story. Reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock's style of suspense.

I like this movie it was okay, to have sharon stone a little older on your set is a pleasure, but the storyline needed to be better thought out! This was farfetched story line. though it resembled the love triangle a little bit like the first. Movie can become pretty violent. The first Basic instinct should of been really the only. No sequel was needed..better yet they should of made a prequel instead of the sequel...more of a story of how she became what she is! You can pass on this Dvd really, but if your a sharon stone fan and want too see skin, this movie is for you!
