'Bat Masterson' was one of the best western shows ever filmed. It was different, in that Bat Masterson was a good man with a good heart who did everything in his power to defend the innocent and the powerless, no matter what it cost him. He was a professional gambler and very handsome, attracting ladies in every town he came to. He carried a gold-tipped cane which was his weapon of choice...only using his gun when his 'bat' didn't do the job, (hence his nickname!) This was a very enjoyable show, and is definitely worth watching!
