This SteelBook set was much better then I thought it would be come in an amazing SteelBook box that incases the premium SteelBooks and compared to the standard 4K releases the art work is so much better I'd highly recommend this to anyone

These look absolutely phenomenal in 4K. They look like they were filmed this year. I have been waiting months for this to come out, and now it has. This set is gorgeous through and through!

This movie collection is super cool it comes in a steel book case and the movies are awesome. Super dope for all Batman fans,a must have collection.

I saw a few other reviews on here about damage to the packaging, but I had absolutely no problems getting TWO in perfect condition. I had one shipped to my house and another I picked up from the store as a gift. Both have absolutely no scratches or dents on them. Now about the item itself. This is an absolutely gorgeous set that looks much better in person than it does in pictures. Has a good, solid feel to it and the steelbooks have a very solid, matte feel to them (no fingerprint smudges here!). The films themselves have NEVER looked better. They never really got a good transfer even on blu-ray, so it was nice to see Warner Bros finally hit these movies out of the park. Yes, the only ones worth watching are the first two, but growing up on the last two brings back a very specific nostalgia to me that still makes them enjoyable. Goofy, campy, and absolutely nonsensical...but at least with Batman Forever there are no boring stints. But really, these are four perfect 4k transfers to the point where I wish most movies today looked this good in 4k. The depth, the clarity, and all of the detail is almost overwhelming to someone who watched each of these movies probably 25 times throughout his life. I feel like I'm watching them for the first time.

Love the packaging. Love the designs on each steelbook case. Love having these in 4k. Only con to this is the fact you ONLY get the 4k disc in each movie and not a Blu-Ray disc as well. For the price and age of the movies, I would have expected that little extra. At least the holder for the disc in each case is designed to hold more then one disc so I can add the BR disc myself.

I see a lot of just, “ great set 4k looks great” so here is my short detail facts die hard or casual batman fans should know about this set. 4K things yes the films look great on 4k or at least better than the blurays and sound amazing. the soundmix for Batman 1 is new or different from the original sountrack used on previous bluray but not too bad some sounds better or just as good. Really depends on your nostalgia, but for me the new sound effects or bullet sounds are ok. Luckily I still have my old blurays of the first one. the 2nd, forever, and 4th film still the same sountrack. Personallly, I could care less about the last 2 even if the add new effects or extra 10 mnutes of deleted footage crap is still crap imo..hehehe packaging the steel book casing and box does look great and is definately NOT cheap plastic. I do agree some of the cases are damage or there is a dent on the steelbook casing. Luckily I buy 2 of every steelbook case I get, so I wont have any of those bad cases and I can always return the unopen damage copy for my money back..... extras- nothing just like how everyone is saying the extras is pretty much dead here. Someone said you can get the extras online, but that is not mostly TRUE!. Only the 1 batman movie can you get the extras on Movies Anywhere online only, I have double checked Vudu and Movies Anywhere on my Roku, Ipad, no extras only extras found on the first Batman movie online. Luckily I love Batman so much that I bought the regular batman 4k boxset and got the blurays that have the EXTRAS, but for a very heavy fee. Seriously, WB practically every 4k disc release these days have the bluray disc and HD digital copy included now! This was just pure greed and money politics for Batman fans shame on WB. Overall- if you dont care about the extras and just want the 4k disc and 4k digital copy the steel book set is ok, the price is the same as the regular 4k boxset that Amazon sells for 91$. However if u want teh extras and also the bluray discs too the regular 4k boxset is better. I bought the regular 4k boxset from amazon and they are the exact same 4 discs, digital copy, and content as the 4k steelbook set. Other than the basic 4k black casing and art packaging, the blurays or extras that fans want is missing. If u already have the blurays with extras I’d go with the steel book casing if u want the 4k only and steelbook cases. Cause most of the extras on the blurays included in the regular 4k boxset is the same as the previous bluray releases.

I love these movies from the late 80s and 90s for Batman! 4K UHD BD transfer is brilliant, only wish it were in Dolby Vision! Dolby Atmos Home Theatere surround sound is pristine and works perfectly, especially for the first Batman! I only wish this came with the BD for all the original Bonus materials, but at least the Digital HD/4K UHD Streaming file on VUDU and Movies Anywhere provides all those supplements! Steelbooks look amazing! So much better look than the 4K UHD/BD collection in terms of look and packaging design!

WB did a great job with the transfer of this but for some reason didn't include Dolby Vision which is disappointing for sure. In addition the cases of all 4 films are exactly the same except for the color change. There is no unique artwork. Pretty disappointing for the price and because the actual material of the box set is study aluminum one of the best I had. Still overall great job with the transfers and 4K at last!

Overall, I'm very pleased with this exclusive Batman 4K box set. The design of the outer box as well as each individual case is nice. I enjoy the different images of the batmobile on the inside of each case. However, being a perfectionist, I noticed a couple small dents on the outside of the outer box and small scratches on two of the individual movie cases. I've seen far worse in other reviews though. It would have also been nice to receive the additional blu ray disc/special features given the cost of this set.

The Batman Quadrilogy was a groundbreaking departure from the more light-hearted Adam West TV show take on the character. The original Blu Ray and DVD releases were of this Quadrilogy were pretty much underwhelming from an audio and visual presentation perspective. This new 4K release has taken care of those shortcomings - big time! Seeing these remastered 4Ks is like seeing four totally different and improved films. Video: A+. Audio: A+. Best Buy Steelbook Packaging: A+. RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The quality of the steelbooks and the big case is excellent, and the films are STUNNING on 4K Blu-ray. But having ZERO special features besides commentary is inexcusable. And the actual artwork on the steelbooks could have been better than just using a different color for each. Each film’s original poster is great, why not just use them on the steelbooks? For the price, these problems shouldn’t have existed.

This is a beautifully designed steenbok set with remastered films on UHD discs. The major disappointment comes with knowing that in the international versions of this set you received an additional Blu-ray version of each film rather than just the single UHD disc. In a time when including both versions has become standard, especially as means of providing special features absent on the rather full UHD discs, this choice baffles. Otherwise a very lovely set.

I pre-ordered this set and my order arrived damage. No damage to the shipping box either. I went to 4 different Best Buy locations and each store only had a few copies. And each of those copies were scratched and dented. I finally found a new set at my fifth (and final) stop. However, when I got home and unwrapped the shrink wrap I found a giant dent right under the cardboard sleeve. As well as a tiny dent on the opposite side. Aggravating to say the least. I find it hard to believe all these copies were released unnoticed by Warner Brothers. No damage to the shrink wrap or cardboard on any of these sets. This leads me to believe all these instances of damage happened on your end and NOT Best Buys. This launch was a complete embarrassment and an insult to your customer base. I know I’m not the only one affected because of MULTIPLE reviews I’ve already spotted online. This set was designed with collectors in mind. Some who already bought these 4K releases weeks ago. It’s a shame to see the overall quality of this set.

This collection is pretty decent. It collets the four Batman films from the Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher era and is a treat for any fans of that era. I will say, though, if you’re thinking about getting this set for your regular Blu-Ray player, THEN DON’T! This set only contains the 4K Blu-Rays and not regular Blu-Ray discs. Beyond that only setback, though, if you’re a fan of Steelbooks and all thing Batman, then this set is definitely for you!

I’ve had the new Batman Movies for a long time, but these Older Batman Movies were only in DVD only and I’ve been waiting for them to at least be Available in Blu-Ray since Blu-Ray has been out for years now! Finally, they’re OUT and I opted for the Steelbook, because I wanted the Discs to last a long time! The quality of the Steelbook is awesome and the artwork is wonderful. The 4 Discs are separated with their own slots that are lined with like felt!

The audio and video on these remastered disks is very good. The packaging is really great. The outer box has great art and the individual steel books fit well into the foam slots on the back. One thing to note is that these only have the 4K disks and no bluray copies. The extras are limited to just audio commentary. Granted on the previous sets the extras were a simply copy over from the DVD releases, but they were at least included.

The colors are all bright and vibrant, and represent their respected movie well. The artwork is a little plain, with the only variance the back cover for each. It's a little disappointing that this is a barebones set- it doesn't come with Blu Ray OR any special features. You truly just get the movies, so know what you're in for and what you want before you purchase. If you're a fan of the Caped Crusader, chances are you'll want this set.

These Batman movies from the 80’s & 90’s have never looked or sounded this great. The 4K scans that WB has done are fantastic. Definition across the board is improved while still preserving the films grain. Colors pop off the screen and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack envelopes the viewer and puts them in the center of the action. If you enjoy these movies I highly recommend picking up the 4K versions. You will not be disappointed!
